When Marco Polo will be released?

Hi, i'm so excited about Marco Polo when i heard that she will be coal ship. I have coal and coupon, i was about the buy Pommern but i will definitely getting Marco Polo.

 

Now i wonder when she will be available on Armory. Also how much she will be cost? Same as Pommern or higher?

It's almost surely 0.10.2 as you'll be able to get the Legion camo for it from the directives and it'll be able to drop from event containers, so it's very likely it will also be available form coal and in the premium shop.

That was my logic for specifying that as well.

There's always a chance, but from what I've seen of her she should be performing just fine without  being too strong.

 

Remember, she does not have smoke in any way shape or form.

Thanks. I just checked her stats. From i see, the reload speed is kinda slow for nine 406mm guns with 36 seconds, but i assume that they have done that to balance her SAP.

 

Also, i've heard that italian battleships has bad accuracy, is Marco Polo has better sigma?

She does seem rather weak to me, i dont even get all the hype for it

Pretty low HP for a T9 (same as Alsace, but Alsace is atleast faster), only 9 guns with 36 sec reload, dispersion could be decent? Maybe? Hard to say yet, probably better than the other italians, alltho they also have more guns...

it has the same dispersion of Roma, and the armour is... well...

It's pretty much an equivalent of Roma's armour at T9; Marco has a thicker deck while having a thinner belt, not negligiable (320mm instead of 375mm); yes, her turtleback is overmatchable, but Roma does have a easy to hit citadel too, so it doesn't change anything; it could just as well have Roma's citadel, it wouldn't change anything even in that case. 

 

I?m comparing her a lot to Roma as they are very similar in terms of playstyle

Well, she's very strong frontally, and if you show just enough broadside to tempt them to aim at it, but still have the shells land at a wonky angle, she will bounce a lot.

 

That broadside armor is..not the  thickest however.

• First WG will drain the money out of the players with the current stage of the Italian event, so everyone can get their Lepanto.
• Afterwards, I guess another stage of the event will launch with boxes, maybe with the regular VIII premium
• When enough money, the coal ship will be launched

Except there is just nothing to balance if the SAP in the other ships is anything to judge by...

Similar armour to Roma but worse dpm. SAP seems to be the secondary ammo choice to me and HE works better against full bow in targets.

I was initially interested in her because I don't have an Italian premium battleship. But after trying out BB SAP with Dante, I'm no longer interested. Just what are you supposed to shoot with that SAP anyway? To me it seems that AP is better option in all cases except against DDs, and even then the difference is so small that you might be better of keeping the AP loaded in case you have to switch target to some other ship type.
