Im sorry, but tbh I dont know much about bb sap performance (especially difference between ca sap and bb sap). Dont have a single ita bb.

 

Could you plz explain a bit how it works and how different it is to silver ita bb line?

102mm of pen. That opens up a LOT of targets you can penetrate and even citadel with that.

 

Also they're still 406mm guns so the AP is going to pack a punch.

 

And she's got better sigma than the rest of the line, supposedly.

 

EDIT: Also 900m of extra range over Lepanto won't hurt..

How does bb sap (or lets say marco polo sap in this case) perform vs dds?

 

Ca sap eats dds ... I heard bb sap is crap against dds?

BB sap falls under the 10% rule, CA sap does not. Ie it does a maximum of 10% of it's damage.

 

Of course that doesn't matter that much if you're hitting them with six or more shells but still..

They have reduced damage, from testing a bit the new tech tree ships it's better to shoot ap on dds, not that much difference in damage output. SAPs are dealing tons of dmg on cruisers/bbs

From what we've seen in clan they are doing pretty fine. OFC all need to be tested vs various enemies in order to have some better clues about how to make them work ^^

On a broadside target i use AP if i'm almost sur to cita or if i cant pen with Sap.

For exemple with lepanto,  on a broadside yamato at 16km , i will use Sap.

But yeah anyway Ap works on broadside target but sometime Sap will be better.
