Have to say that ranked remains for me the only high tier playable mode. Objectives count and braindead deadeye people sitting at map borders lose games. Two year old account and this was certainly not an alt account judging by the game performance. We won however. Spoiler The second game was a loss, because a full HP Thunderer on my team refused to leave the A line, when we were in a 2 vs 1 with me playing Republique and getting burned down by an enemy Thunderer with 10k HP remaining when i died. All my Thunderer had to do is push up and help me kill their last ship, but nope. Eventually he moved up but then stopped to cap with 90 seconds on the clock remaining and 300 points behind, instead to push the enemy Thunderer who was nose in and no way to disengage, easiest kill on the planet. Naturally we lost the game by points because the time ran out. I came in second on the team, lost the star because of this imbecile who came in last on the scoreboard, oh what a surprise. Also, i don't play the game a lot daily and honestly when you get these teams, even tho it might just be one battle, that one battle just kills your will to play the game. i sometimes joke that i open the game, but then i just don't want to play it. I wish WoWS Ranked would be like Azur Lane Exercises, because let's be honest, players paly ranked for Steel; for the rewards in general yes, but mainly for Steel (or Coal if there was); you don't play raanked just to rank out, or well, you do that, but because there are rewards there. I actually find it quite frustrating having to wait. I thought the whole point of this new format was that Ranked gameplay would be more available and players wouldn't have to wait weeks for a new season, but here we are. I ranked out after 4 days and now have to sit and twiddle my thumbs for 10 days. Annoying. I logged out as soon as I had qualified and I wont log back in until the next sprint starts. Our NC was playing cruisershipsimulator, pretty much never shooting anything. When he was between B/C, enemies were broadside in and behind A. What does he do? Just continue into enemy spawn. Then at 985 points, he goes flat broadside against Iowa and Bismack, and loses 40k instantly. Stlouis was at 1700 HP and refused to stop shooting aswell. Ibuki was totaly lost cause aswell, just went flat broadside and died to AP. Bismarck was bowtanking and refused to turn away, then just died. Öland (in A cap) got rushed by Tirpitz = dead. I just ran away to mapborder kiting the 3 enemies. Suddenly Kagero pops up after he capped our C cap by spotting himself at me, and i kill him before i die to his torps. Luckily, our B/C flank actually managed to kill 1 ship (Alaska in topright corner) and get the B cap, then get the C cap back. Only one with a brain was the Seattle.... There is Random, Co-op, Scenarios where people can derp around as much as they want.
