Why does the game handle disconnection so poorly?

My internet connection has been a bit unstable recently, the only game I play where this has a hugely negative effect is WOWS.. Instead of handling it gracefully and returning me to the main menu, the game bricks itself to the point I need to log out on my machine and back in to get it to reload. By the time I have done this and reloaded the game I'm inevitably dead, which completely ruins the game experience. Is this a problem for anyone else?

No, I just play coop when my internet is flaky.

Don't punish your team if you know your connection is bad.

He is right though few if any games are THIS sensitive to packet loss and some are much more dynamic and fast paced...
