I know why, because you are stupid! You thought, ok we have problem, people playing Battleships waiting a lot, No one want play Cruisers, they are sucks! lets mix levels then who play battleships will wait next game less. What a stupid design, It was long queues for Battleships before and will the same now ! 30 min waiting for ranked on Battleship, no matter what level, its insane, correct Matchmaking already! People don't like play Cruisers!!! Cruisers are sucks!!! TO CORRECT RANKED DO NEXT: 1 --- Correct tiers, 8 vs 8 , 9 vs 9 10 vs 10 ONLY 2 --- Make Match Making to be possible create team ONLY with Battleships, ONLY Battle ships 3 ---- Remove requirements create team with different ships types AT ALL. This is a FACT (do you know what is it fact?) PEOPLE DONT PLAY CRUISERS!!! We had T8 only in the first season, and queue looked EXACTLY the same way. On my both alt accounts I have only TVIII ships, and I have no issues dealing with TIX in ranked. Light cruisers might suffer a bit due to Georgias and Mushashi's, however this can be somewhat mitigated by better positioning. My personal highlights from the past two days: gunning down 2 Alaskas in two separate games in my DDs (Benson) while open water gunboating. Also why your enjoyement should be to detriment of other ? Like if someone really want to play a certain ship, WG should not try to dissuade or punish him. Because it makes some players very happy - the rewards you get from Ranked are astronomical if you can stick some reasonable damage on a T9 whilst driving a T8... On my NA account, I've only got Orkan at T8 (well, I've got that PA cruiser clone thing too, but I'm rubbish in cruisers), and she does fine against T9; as far as I can tell, the average T9 player is no more or less able to deal with DD radar than anyone else. If you can coordinate in an effective way you can do great even down tiered, if you have map and ship awareness you can do great! Try to use Kronshtad...in ranked is good to be played! I will do my best, and try to learn every game. As to OP: In the previous only T8 ranked the MM looked roughly similar.
