Overall most people are trying to work as a team and it's been a pleasant surprise from the normal game. On the one we lost, I had to sit through my team throw away a 3 ship lead and 200 point lead to lose. The bottom feeds threw their ships away. Never seen anything like it. DD only had to cap...... And he fired out of his smoke. Dribble down the chin. Not one game has anyone worked as a team. So no change and only the first bits of steel for me. All I can stand. I think it's a combination of people assuming it's a safe win so they can yolo and people who are obsessed with chasing stats and PR. A lot of the time, thinking like that is contra productive imho. Well I've always had a pretty good response when I talk with people in ranked in chat, even if I just get 1-2 people to team up it's often enough. There are always gonna be people who doesn't read, or doesn't care, but thats just a variable. The most important part for me personally, is the "clean slate mentality" that I advocate for anyone that plays competitive games. Most of the time, people get more and more annoyed with certain plays, players or themselves and they take that energy to the next game and next game and so forth and in the end you just see all the bad that is going on. Ranked is very different from Random Games * More motivated players * Better and more competitive ships * Smaller amount of players so you have a greater impact It's surprising that you did not know this honestly, however I think it explains your usual responses. edited* Edit : If you need any pointers on how to win in ranked, let me know. I'm pretty certain a player like you would never even think of taking a T8 into ranked, and since I do and have better stats I think you should heed my advice. Played Lightning for fun, and lost most battles, played Lion for a campaign achievement expecting losses and won most battles... Ranked was refreshing, even the losses! My guess is that you have played T9 only and most likely it's a very strong ship. As opposed to me who play Atago so I get some cash while doing ranked.
