What are your favourite scenario ships?

Since high tiers, from what I can see in community or forum, kind of a mess.

From my previous post many seem to linger back to mid tiers, especially T6 for scenario battles to escape a bit from random.

 

what is your favourite ship for scenario ? feel free to talk about them and how u set it up.

For the current one (Narai), it's probably Scharnhorsts (either vanilla, or S&M, depending on my mood); both built semi-manly.

 

For the T6s (although I mostly avoid Newport), I like CVs, especially Ark Royal and EL; Ops are about the only time I can play CVs and not ruin people's fun (outside of Coop).

 

Honourable mentions: Boise/NdJ, Ashitaka (with Kobayashi), Mysore, AGS (with National cammo), PEF, Mutsu, Dunk/Strasbourg (depending on Op tier). I tend to use Ops to make the most of the classes that I don't play in PvP as much (basically, anything that isn't a DD), and tend to favour healing potions.

Secondary PEF Tried it a couple of times now in Killer Whale and also Newport.

That was the best result in Killer Whale^^ Shredded the transports and the onshore installations by just sailing past them

 

 

Thats the build. Used the same in randoms btw, works there too. Would put the last 3 points in AR.

Perth, Warspite and  Normandie for T6 OPs.

 

Warspite hits hard, Normandie has 12 guns and fast. Perth has unique smoke, hard hitting torps and fast acceleration.

 

For Narai: Scharnhorst and Sinop.

 

Scharnhorst is my favorite ship. With secondary build, Scharnhorst shreds any  enemy ships on Narai.

 

Also they buffed Scharnhorst's secondaries. Has 9.1 KM range (9.5 KM with flags) and more accuracy.

 

Sinop has some large guns for T7 and deals heavy damage.

For the current operation, which is Killer Whale, I've been using Dallas and a commander with IFHE and the Heavy HE and SAP Shells skills. The latter's concealment penalty isn't a huge problem with the islands hiding you in the second half of the operation, and the Dallas' lofty gun arcs really come into their own. However, in more open maps, that concealment penalty might really start to bite, so I probably won't use it again now the free re-spec is ending. For German and British commanders in T6 ops, I'm sticking with Devonshire and Nurnberg respectively.

T6 Izmail/Fuso/Dunk/Pensacola/Molotov/Budyonny

Graf Spee also got an accidental buff operations wise because you can spec for that bonus reload foregoing concealment

I like a German CV. Killer Whale provides secondary fun, as does late stage Newport, but Raptor Rescue is best. Hunting down the second enemy CV with your secondaries is very possible in a Weser and always a great laugh. 

 

For Tier VI scenarios I like all the CVs. I also like Aigle for her smoke, speed and armament. Leander is superb, and I like Makarov for her premium economy. For battleships, I like Izmail for her firepower and speed.

 

For Narai, anything works, but light cruisers have the best fun, if they remember that Uncle Missouri does not like them and will smack their backsides if he sees them out by themselves.Fiji and Atlanta can dominate, but you can have great, profitable fun in a Munchen or Abruzzi - if they fell out of a christmas crate, don't ignore them.

Every VI and VII ship that I can put it through and earn some nice chunk of FXP.

I like Nelson in Narai and Fuso in Aegis.

For the tier 6 ops I prefer PEF or Warspite both ships cope well and being battleships the heal is very handy considering the amount of HE thrown around in ops. Warspite is great in Newport because you need  the speed less. For Operation Narai I prefer Fiji or maybe Myoko because I want the DPM and I can use torps if it turns out the BBs have decided to all run off after the CV or enemy transports and left our transports alone against the Missouri.

I mostly use light cruisers for T6 ops. Nürnberg, Makarov, De Grasse, etc.

 

For Narai, my two main ship was the Scharnhorst and the Atlanta. I was wondering about getting a München to use instead of the Atlanta, but i got from a Santa Crate the OG Belfast, so probably thats gonna be my main cruiser from now on.

For any T6 Op it's pretty much [INSERT CV HERE]

Although special mention goes to Ark Royal and Ryujo which can pretty much damage output wise solo the final wave of Newport if you have some bullet catchers err... valuable team mates still kicking to draw the AI's ire.

For Ops, I prefer Dunkerque (for speed, I'm fed up with slow BBs) or PEF, AGS and Perth (Duca is too fragile but fun). I tried recently Ark Royal and it's not bad. When i'm in the mood, Aigle or T-61for DDs.
