Reported for playing in Operation - Lost 2 Karma.

5-Star operation win - yay, happy... but wait...

Usually I don't mind being spanked when I'm naughty, but I've just lost 2 of the meaningless Game Karma because I was reported by an abusive player, (along with the rest of the team).

This guy charged in, him and his Div-mate died, then he called everyone a homopobic slur - the F word - then reported everyone.

 

I lost 2 Karma. (I suppose his friend also reported everyone.)

 

Now I reported the guy ofc, but if nobody else in the team (I think none of them spoke English) reported this guy he gets away clean with spotless Karma and a sense of righteous entitlement PLUS THE 5-STAR WIN he didn't contribute to.

 

Why Karma? I don't give two tosses if someone has a problem with how I play, they can tell me and I will argue or apologise, but if that goes beyond the game, well. Not cool WG -1 Karma for you.

OP - raise a ticket and send the replay to support. Hopefully WG have enough sense to take this more seriously than swearing.

Furthermore disable the chat - you will not notice anything and just be happy for getting 5 stars. :Smile_honoring:

I eated a self-made chili cheeseburger today. It was delicious. The chili powder i used to season the meat had quite a nasty sting.

 

My meaningless contribution in a meaningless thread about a meaningless topic.

 

Still, OP should grow a thiccer skin, it's the internet after all. Getting reported? Report back! Add the perp to the blacklist.

If the language was that bad certainly worth submitting a support ticket.
 

As for being reported in an operation, it happens you get reported for carrying your team/ or not carrying your team just like in randoms.

 

It’s the nature of the karma system, on the bright side at least you know karma is worthless.

Judging by the opening post it sounds like the guys in the division made it very clear they were going to report everyone else in the operation.
 

Sometimes it is very obvious who reports you because of all the crying of hacks, cheating etc etc in chat, other times it’s a total mystery as to who or why. Either way usually not worth worrying about if you played well.

Thanks for the comments guys, made I laugh.

I really just wanted to vent, but learning that report/compliment number is tied to Karma is interesting and also sucks a little.

After all.. I just want to play the damn game, not engage in some social experiment.

I rarely give negative but give positive a lot and praise the player - whether he is on my team or not. It is meaningless but makes people feel better and surely that is worth doing.

The highest number of reports i received in one game was 30 or 40 something (posted it in the Achievements thread years ago).

 

Good memories... ^^

Hey understand you completely, but don't let haters to ruin your day. They can only hate.

Use red wine to achieve " don't give a f*** " state of mind , ignore them in the game, don't waste your time with a low life elements and watch their agony.

PS: If they however park their car on your parking spot in the real life, then punch them in the face (  I know it is wrong, but feels so good )

I rarely report as I prefer giving compliments, and don't play much operations too, but this afternoon we lost by time-out because everybody chased after bots while I was alone in the circle and pinging like mad in hope they would come as well. Lost, complete waste of 20 minutes for 350 xp, that made me angry. Would have reported them 1000 times if that was possible :cap_rambo:

I could see downvoting someone who throws an Operation through terrible play, but that's not what you're describing: that guy sounds like a griefer and nothing more.

Thanks guys, reading this thread really was relaxing and funny. :cap_haloween:

 

I got complimented twice today for carrying my team in the Ryujo. But these are rare events.


On a daily basis I don`t receive any positive feedback when carrying the team in operations. Sometimes I even lose Karma when playing exceptionally well.
Like in this particular round I did nearly 2,000 Base XP AND secured the win beforehand with 4 stars because those 2 muppets left refused to leave the harbour ... they didn`t bother at all.

Anyway my Karma went down by 1. :fish_glass:

 

But then again: It`s just meaningless Karma. :Smile_bajan2:
