Strange steam statistics?

How is that possible? Steam hick-up? Pushing the statistic with an army of "bots" :D? I highly doubt that this game ever had 350k players online at the same time, their servers would explode..

it was most likely an error. Steam players should be included in the total number of players on a server and this site shows no peak like the steam charts: https://stats.wotapi.ru/stats/wows/eu/EU (Yes i checked the other regions as well, nothing unusual there).
