I hereby declare open the contest for the most Thunderers in a game.

TBh why sould i get a cruser in game if I can get a BB who can do all the things that a cruser do but better?

7 was my highest number so far. From my experience, team with the most Thunderers automatically loses as they typically average 40-60 k damage in their 20 battles to date.

Had a game with 4 on each side, played Yama RIP burnt to death. Had tens of fires, felt like calling the fire department, most game i was with 2 fires and up. Just impossible to play

- Limit Thunderers to 2 per battle

- Put all excess Thunderers in 12v12 Thunderer only battles

= Profit

 

All those toxic [edited] ships should be forced to play against one another all the time - same as CVs. If there are too many in queue, put them somewhere else, where they can experience the fun of playing against their own kind.

Do you think this state is because of the notorious specifics of this ship, or because it is being pulled soon? Did WG leave it too late, or should they have just left it in the armoury?

I still find it better than the Smolensk spam a year or so ago or the constant double CV games after the rework went live. 

At least you can play sneaky DDs somewhat successful in the deadeye meta.

I wonder how many of these Thunderers are actually using deadeye, or if they just got it before its removal and are trying it out.

 

I tried deadeye on Thunderer but it is so ridiculously accurate you can’t effectively deal with dodging enemies at range.

It is not the thunderer itself as much as the new meta caused by the skill rework. Some bbs fit well into the new meta, others are misfits.

Its because there never should have been T9/T10 non-tech tree ships in the first place.

Maybe the whole point of pinkeye deadeye was to take the heat off CVs.

Yeach i know. Thunderer is not a problem, the problem is balance + CVs. Now all not BBs are the harder option to play than all the BBs. (i dont count cvs ofc cos they are different cancer at all)

Thunderer is an extremely noob friendly ship. Majority of players in random are noobs. Reworked captain skills made it even easier for the noobs to spam HE and camp.

The result is the screen shot you posted.

This game got awfully boring.

I like it!

Lets call it "Spam-dom Battles" 

3-4 CVs per side and fill the rest up with Thunderers and BBs that use rangemod. 

 

Ocean Map only and add Epicenter just to mock players.
