Really? You're giving BB's less AA and splitting up skills, but DD's get it for free with no downsides... really? The best AA in the game are DD's right now....

You really didn't expect cruisers to run anti concealment builds to basically get a free 8 percent reload buff... especially since you took away all their survivability options...

So if you're not survivable anyway, then go full DPM and yolo and kite to your hearts content.

 

Outnumbered

Further enforcing the play described by Top Grade Gunner

 

Let alone the amount of skills that are unusable now, or just straight up cannot be taken because the bare basics you need on a ship are now further split apart (BB's mostly) so it's not even an option anymore if you want to last more than 2 salvo's.

I partly disagree with this, for gunboat DDs that don't want or barely benefit from the AA part of these two skills it is a 7 point investment for a mere 20% range and 5% reload buff.

 

The DD MB and AA skills should be split so that you could get the main gun benefits or the AA benefits for less instead of being forced to spend more to get both MB and AA bonuses. Like, making the 3pt skill a combination of the AA bonuses and the 4pt skill a combination of the MB bonuses. That way you can get the MB bonuses for 4pts, the AA bonuses for 3pts, or both for 7pts if you actually want both.

 

Especially since, as you observed, splitting these bonuses is fine for BBs so the "logic" that a skill that increases DP gun reload should also increase AA performance is moot.

I think some BB secondary skills should be combined to allow more tank skills to also be taken as it kinda primordial to push.
THe sad things is that you separated the secondary skills from the aa skills so now we get dumbed more often by CV.
Also, bring back secondary skill to extend the range for cruiser please, my Siegfried is waiting.

Thank you Wargaming for confirming to (anyhow) the European CC's that you fucked up, by informing them that the data collected in your own test environment has not provided enough insights of the new captain skills!!

 

It shows once more that you are an amateuristic bunch of people, who shove their incompentence to their customers...........

 

CV reworks you made a mess off, which led to many months of adjustments and now we customers can look at the same piece of sh*t, provided by you!

congratrulations , all BBS turned into sniping piles of back row useles turds these last few weeks ,glad my premium running out , just another disaster like the cv rework  ...  im now seeying kurfursts BEHIND yamatos and montanas ... because of ur stupid BB skills, do u guys even play bb at all ...

Well, quite simply the biggest balls up since the CV rework.

 

Apparently the devs thrive on making incredibly inane decisions and makeovers just cos... I am hugely disappointed that yet again no one was listened to. I don't post often but this is so bad I felt the need.

 

I am sad to say that unless they fix this I am off. There are other games out there you know WG....

A Massa who's secondaries don't need the accuracy like the Germans as they already are accurate. Beside you can now get a 10% on your main battery reload together with the secondaries. 

I feel the big change is deadeye way more than the change on Secondaries. 

 

why WG decided to change it, nobody asked it ? What everyone did ask to something with CV's. But hey why would we do something our players are asking ?

Hello to my fellow Beta Tester! :-)

 

Like you I have been in since almost the beginning and like you I am running down my Premium time with only 11 days left from the time of posting! I have supported this game since its launch, but will cease to to so with my money from now on. I may or may not continue to play, but I have enough Premium ships to make the Silver I need to run high tier vessels.

 

I urge people to consider becoming a free-to-play miser and not to give WG any money until they have proven they can listen to feedback and provide a product which the paying customer likes. #freetoplaymiser

Here here britinmadrid;

 

Played a few since the 'rework', tried a few 'builds' in all classes that should be in the game. My premium ran out at Christmas.

 

Good grief - you've achieved what I thought was not possible. You've made the game so luck based (right ship, right game mode, right opponents), so unrealistic ( My guns develop extra accuracy depending on the ships I can see????) , so quick playing (40+ knots in most high level DD's anyone??) and so outright frustrating it is now achieved that higher plane of existence - the 'World of Tanks level of Unplayable'

 

I'd just like to say thanks for the 'reset all commander skills' button - which I've pressed, earned all the ships I'm prepared to over the last month or two, and I hope to see you when you've realized your folly.

 

That'll be Soon tm I'm sure.

Everything Flamuu says in this vid regarding DEAD EYE simply confirms what I suspect is the true motivation for these changes.

Its to encourage a type of behaviour in BBs (effectively split BBs from the rest of the Fleet) so when SS (Submarines) are introduced there is a 'no mans land' between BBs and all other ships which Subs can exploit.

 

Therefore it is essential that BBs withdraw fro the fight as much as possible.

Haven't played a second in this patch cause I knew this would be a cluster****.

More players should have done the same.

And I've not spent a dime since the CV/AA "rework".

More players should have done the same.

Just waiting for the inevitable introductions of subs so I can finally uninstall this game.

But until then I'm just dumb enough to wait, since I hope they will see the light and do something about the current ****show.

Hello all,

 

is it possible that the skil "Adrelanine Rush" stopped working with the new update?

I have seen it 2day on the Hindenburg. The reload time of the main guns remained at 8.6 sec although the ship HP was strongly reduced.

 

To the new captain skills and enhancement ideas:

 

BB: The perk "Dead eye" should be reduced by 50 % shell accuracy.

I actually ditched "deadeye" on all my bbs and have zero issues.  I like supporting my dds and cruisers and work as a team.
