Suggestion on how to improve the game

Increase every ships dispersion by 300% on ranges upward of 15km and add a tooltip that announces "This is stupid" every time a battleship fires from outside that range.

It was suggested multiple times in past few years to increase dispersion on longer ranges, but nevery by this ridiculous amount.

Still, WG did not do it and it is unlikely that this will happen.

yes because the best way to play a BB is to get inside the range of all of the enemy team and then die, er i mean shoot from there

For that you would have to move into the enemy spawn. Not a good idea.

Here's another genius suggestion: CV planes should be range limited to, maybe 15k,

or maybe DD concealment should be 10km minimum

That would make the game rather stale and crowded now wouldn't it? Variety is the spice if life, accepting the fact that idiots will make bad plays is a consequence I'm willing to take. 

 

I'm really not trying to sound elitist, but I would still suggest to simply carry harder and hope for the best.

Because out of all suggestions in the CV suggestion thread this must be the worst one yet. In order to even remotelly work, CVs would need 5 km detection and twice the BB armor. That would be dumb, considering CVs dont even have direct control of the ship itself...

You do realise what an average engagement range for a BB in say WW2 era was?

If you are having to give a ship a reload over 30s it's either in the wrong tier or designed badly. Nerfing enjoyment for balance is always a bad idea.

What of it is that 20k yards was considered a quite acceptable distance to open up, at about that range RN BBs of the late WW1 and interwar era scored about 5% hits and at 15k yards that went up to 10+ percent or rougly one hit per salvo, later radar plotted rangefinders were even better, also beae in mind that the ships in game are actually bigger (3x IIRC) then in reality and you can reach a conclusion that the gunnery stuff in WOWS is actually statistically pretty close...
