Finished Stage 3 yesterday; have already unlocked the final task of the Furutaka stage in S&F (it's worth noting that you don't need Strasbourg to do several of the tasks and the final which you do need her for is 'play one battle'), so anticipating being able to get at least that done and then maybe T-22 and possibly HawkinsVisby would be a bonus, but I already got the Trekroner permaflage from the oily excess event for her; the last two ships I don't have or have any interest in.

As for Strasbourg herself, I'm actually kinda looking forward to adding her to my stable of crap-but-ironically-enjoyable T7 battleships, I already have lots of fun with Nelson, Duke of York and occasionally Gneisenau ;)

The Strasbourg missions are time-sensitive, whereas the 5 Epochs ones aren't and the Hizen directives are around for a lot longer. If you're wanting to get hold of Strasbourg, you might want to make her a little more of a priority, otherwise you might miss your chance. Also, hard as it might be to believe, Newport week doesn't seem to be a complete waste any more as the Op. seems to have been altered to make it actually worthwhile to play now! :)

Bought it. I have three phases of her mission done, ready for the last bit of the campaign to unlock. I have also done five phases of Ships and Fates, which means my Furry Taco now has a lovely perma camo. Will finish the last phase at my leisure.

Am not taking much notice of Hizen as I don't want the ship (I have a Musashi) and am only doing that to get the Yagahi compensation. Then I'll take the Strasbourg and Yahagi doubloons and get something more worthwhile from t'shop.

I have almost finished stage 3 and 4 won’t take me much time, I’m not sure how hard I will try for the Ships and Fates campaign but probably get a fair bit of it done, but I’m  not going to bend over backwards to get it complete.

Hi all,

I did the 3rd mission 2 days ago whilst doing the Snowflakes... I will get the "Strasbourg" and 4th mission done... hopefully soon... but I doubt that In will get more than 1-2-3 mission in the other Campaign... :Smile_hiding:

Bought Strasbourg (another premium for Narai - yay!), and did the Ships & Fates things over a couple of days, mainly to get the permaflages and a bunch of silver (plus, in a couple of cases, the captains I had on the ships in question were 3-4 pointers, so the Santas came in handy there).

I'm now just plodding through the Strasbourg campaign whilst snowflaking, to get the doubloons at the end...

I am interested in T-22, maybe hawkins and visby. I also think that WG could have granted us 1 extra week for the Ships and Fates campaign.

Voted "other"

Every now and then I have a look at what the requirements for missions are.

If it´s "40 cita w cruiser" sure, I activate the task and go for that.

"40 torpedo-hits w CV"? Nope, in CVs I do the vacuum-cleaner.

Then I just play and see how how far I get.

This way I don´t get worn out and the rewards are welcome.

I would like to get Furutaka-camo bc good ship, and T-22 camo because I always liked that boat somehow.

Hawkins-camo would be nice but I doubt I´ll manage to unlock it.

For the excellent Visby I luckily already have a perma-camo from earlier event, because that task is out of reach for me.

But grind+crunch for the Kotovsky-camo - haha, no way.

Other for me. I will get Strasbourg without too much problems by taking a day off, do the furutaka chapter of the campaign (everything is ready), and the other parts of the campaign ...

well I don't care that much so I'll pass.

Worth saying that the S&F mission campaigns are very liberal in their requirements - with the exception of the final tasks, you can complete them without having to play specific ships, or classes - there's a benefit to using Hizen, for sure, but there's absolutely no need to have it.

Well yes, except for the fictional armament on Gneisenau, the inadequate armouring on the British battleships in general and a host of issues with Duke of York in particular. None of which detracts from (or adds to) their crap-but-ironic enjoyability, just as their in-game performances have nothing whatever to do with their real service histories. Then again, I don't collect paper ships in the first place, so I can't compare CBIE factor with (for example) the Russian and French tech tree equivalents.

oh, see - I haven´t even checked the 2nd campaign because I can not do her anyway until I get Strasbourg. But good to know, thanks :Smile_great:

Same here, was kind of a no brainer for me.

1. If you discount the 300 dubs for the port slot, buying Strasbourg is basically just a simple dub recharge as long as you finish the campaign

2. I do like to have spare dubs to buy stuff that interests me in the arsenal with coupons. And I was running low, so having another 9k in the bank should get me nicely through 2021

3. If you don't mind playing pve the 200% XP booster that you get for 30days is a nice way to farm ECXP for the upcoming captain skill rework

+ I can play at my own leisure and don't have to crush the final stage within a day or two and then powergrind the other campaign for the t5 permaflages.

Did the same with Hizen. Will get a cashback for already owning yahagi and thus I only paid 1k for steel, coal, big santa crate and the crappy ship which I don't care about, cause I already own Musashi.

That's a bit harsh - she was in the process of being fitted with the big guns when she got clobbered towards the end of the war (the original, smaller, guns can still be seen in Norway - I think - where the Germans put them, for use a shore battery).

Looking at the requirements for the 4th fase I wil need 3 days to unlock final mission ( will focus BB only working on 1* dmg mission, BB dmg mission and x times top 3/5? Mission. But depending on synergie with the Hizen grind although that one has a way lower priority due to the focus is set on a mere phase 15 ( the free Yahagi).

Doing 6/7 stars a day. The last20k bxp will take another 3 days.  So in total rather relaxed playstyle of 5/6 days required. Will play a game with Strasbourg for the coal and the Furataka.  Might try the T22 but think my limit is reached then.

Just like the Graf Zep. was in the process of being fitted out with all those planes you mean? ;)

I've got the last task (Earn 4 mill credits) left on part 3. Shouldn't take too long.

Not really interested in Ships and Fates, though. I mean, I'll get the Furutaka once I get Strasbourg, because I've finished that part anyway. Might go for T-22 as well 'cos it's a nice little lolibote and I wouldn't mind getting a permacamo for her. But doesn't really matter.
