Is this a sure thing or pure hope? I am sitting on roughly half a million coal/supercoal and no currently available coal ship is interesting to me (because I already have Yoshino).

It's amusing how low shoukaku is on the ranks. Even though it's the most broken CV after Enterprise it just shows how bad most players are and how potat friendly Enterprise is.

Of course, if you consider Value for Money, the fact that Alaska is half the price of Smaland makes it more worthwhile.

Black and Neustrashimy are probably best left to very skilled DD players who can make use of their particular skills. The average player is probably better off with Thunderer (god help us all), Georgia or Pommern.

Personally I disagree with this, for me Odin is not fun to play at all, better to take Agir to have more consistent guns. Anchorage however turned out to be pretty good (at least for me)

Agir is more consistent but it's very very big, and often I find Odin's size enables me to get a better firing angle and overcome the limitations of the guns without showing too much side. It's a bit like Jean Bart in that respect. I've thoroughly enjoyed playing it (which may say something about a lower skill floor...)

Anchorage is an interesting variation on a theme, was definitely worth the effort to obtain it.

I am currently pondering whether I should get Stalin or Georgia :Smile_sceptic:

But these are different resource ships. Are you considering using the steel into coal ship?

Yes. I am looking at the ships that will be withdrawn.

I agree; as the Thunderer is (imo) one of the easiest and most toxic ships in the game.

[edited] accuracy with [edited] HE makes it way too easy to deal damage with, while it hardly brings anything to the team but that damage.

So basically you have a ship that :

- doesn't help the team win

- makes it easier to save the star

GG WG - catering to the lowest players again :cap_like:

Both of these are very heavily dependent on the skill level of the player. Neustra is more forgiving of the two due heal but still it is not for everyone. Black was OP when released, now not nearly as much. Smoke and radar combo are great, if not broken, but its torps are just bad now as they are really slow, and with now all "improvements" from upgrades and captain skills based in percentage, you can't buff them much. It was primary a DD hunter but as we now have a lot of them, and above all after CV rework, its significance is not as great as before and its potential to fight other ships is much worse than many other T9 DDs. So I wouldn't count those two as the best choices for coal, especially as Thunderer and Georgia are still available.

The best ships are the ones you have the most fun in.

As such, a quick guide on how to play the hilariously fun Colbert:
1) Find cover

2) Apply duct tape to left mouse button
