I don´t know about peculiarities or intend to play these overgrown Colorados but Flamu especially said that the guns are "beastly" but the ship itself is mediocre.

 

There is a lot of sheep here who just don´t want to play very slow ships whether somebody on YT likes them or not.

The  Florida the one ship I nearly bought  is not even included in the event.

Accuracy really isn't a problem with Vermont, yes the reload is slow but if you play it right, 6 18" shells every 20 seconds is pretty darn good especially with how accurate they are in actual use.

See ^^^ Flamu Said...... Guy is a mouthy, loud youtuber, yes he is good at the game but so are many other people.... Why oh why is the Lord Flamu's word seen as Gospel? Sheep !

People forget his epic video on the Imperator when he tested it...... rest assured it did not sell well until those of us who took the time with the ship showed how utterly broken it was... and how utterly wrong Flamu was.... I see another incidence of that with the Vermont .

You are the one that brought Flamu into this conversation in the first place not me. I was just saying that Flamu does not say Vermont has bad guns but that it has a devastating broadside but the platform is not the best because it is so slow and massive. I don´t see how you interpret it like that Flamu simply hates that ship and doesn´t recommend it to anyone?

 

The fact remains that the boats are slow, slow to accelerate and generally large targets with huge superstructures. They will take a lot of damage from many sources and can not reposition very well. They have a worse heal than the faster american BB line. A lot of people do not like those traits in a warship. It is not just that OMG Flamu said they suck so I must not use them like you make it out to be.

Well, it is over!!!    When I saw this event I found myself rather wanting the Florida (third place prize)   so I set out to win it and according to the stats  I did!  I came third using Kansas.      
My god, but that was a slog!   Kansas is not my favourite ship,  its too slow and too,, meh,       but I did about three hundred battles in it this week (thanks lockdown for all the free time)  and finished up with something like 22 700 000   points worth of damage..            I really hope Florida is worth it!

imagine how many credits and freexp and reset lines- research exp, you could bought ohio ,and what not.

It's not about getting a T-shirt or even a premium ship,  least it wasn't for me.  It is about the challenge of winning.           I started off loathing my Kansas,  a sluggish ugly ship with horrendous reloads,  but the more I played it the more I knew how to use its few strengths and occasionally it absolutely owned in a game.  I  think it made me a better player (though the bloody tub almost ruined my win rate)  and I got a real sense of achievement getting up to third place in my category.

As stated in the rewards, you will get only the Supercontainer. Basically you get the reward that is mentioned to your place. It is not stacking up.

 

Regarding the bot check process, we usually do random bot checks for entire server, so for all players, regardless the game modes they play. If you meet this player in the battle, most likely it is unfortunately just someone with much lower skills to play competitive mode as good as others.

Just the manual one, as my colleage mentioned, is a special manual round for those, who participated in this event, just to be 100% sure.

A super-container may have only 7 days of premium account, lol. Meanwhile, places 51-100 get 10 days for granted :-)
