Altho I didn't like this Battleships at all, the idea is really cool have to give WG that and the prices are cool. Is this as mentioned most total dammage dealt over that timespan or one game max dammage ? And also is it 3 set of prices 1 for each tier?

It will be cumulative.

Prizes are for each category - Kansas, Minnesota and Vermont.

It keeps on going, each battle with Vermont feels like a joke, full salvoes scratching or overpenetrating stuff, before that it wasn't like this.  Have actually stopped trying since it feels frustrating not only to the low damage but also of the ship's speed.

The event haven't started yet, btw. So those attempts, as you mentioned, can be something like warm-up.

@YabbaCoe Please make sure to perma ban users that use 3rd party applications and abuse game machanics due to EULA.

 

827k in a random battle seem to me like 8 divs of the same clan in 1 random battle letting 1 guy to farm dmg. So far dmg record has been 520k when servers went off and 1 guy stayed logged in. Now its 827k.

Please make sure to perma ban those abusers!

the trick is not to encourage more than 10 people to participate => literally, everybody taing part will win

Not sure a t-shirt and a pixel ship is worth banning ppl. WG should just fix the game mechanics if those can be abused.

The new USN-BB2 line is so noobish, not only does Wargaming have to bribe people into playing it with an event, they even need to promote the promotion with pop-ups and constant reminders of its existence.

May I suggest to just make more interesting lines in the future?

 

It's actually funny: I have been waiting for certain already known playstyles to be put into perfection in some premium ships or lines for years. Yet, every time a new ship is released that might be just that, it is off by a mile.

When Somers came out I thought: "Finally a premium Shimakaze." Turned out it had predator levels of concealment, which doesn't work for a Shima-style lollibote.

When Azuma/Yoshino was announced, I thought: "Finally a super-Zao." Then maneuverability was poor which blew the concept of dodging damage.

When USN-BB2-line was rumored about, I was excited: "Massachussetts, just without the heal." No somebody at WG thought about what was the most useless permutation of features and designed a line around it.

 

I guess before we see any more reasonable concepts in this game, we'll see submarines with a deck gun reload booster or able to launch planes when surfaced, secondary-only DDs with 30km Asashio-type deepwater torps or maybe even something as unthinkingly as CVs with "dam-buster" barrel bombs ... oh wait ...

I for one actually quite enjoy the Minnie and the Vermin...... Nice event for those of us that do like them..... be nice if those in game didn't specifically target us to wreck our event and just play your ships as normal though?

Sad I did not know about this before, then I should have taken 14 days vacation and played Kansas for 20 hours a day in 14 days straight.

Difficult or easy choice from 2 alternatives ...

 

- I can play only 3 big BBs, and ... get T-shirt if I´m extremely skillful and lucky, or

 

- I can play all ships which I have, AND thanks to this ... in the same time:

      a) collect all steel and coal, ... to acquire desired ships from the armory, which some of them will be taken away soon by WG decision,

      b) fulfill all missions of current "blue" and "green" stars´ campaigns to get Strasbourg and other ships (.. or compensations),

      c) fulfill all Dockyard missions needed for Hizen.

 

... for me the approach is clear and simple:  promised T-shirt is just ... sorry, but only blue-sky idea.

I have no idea why you lot think there is either a problem with the Armour, or the Guns on the Vermont..... rarely take a citadel, yes plenty of pens but most of that can be dealt with on DCP.... 

Talk about sheep following the crowd, Flamu says it's crap so it must be crap.... Learn to play the darn thing, it is a good ship, not great but good.....

She has a particular peculiarity with her guns, now I ain't telling my secrets, but obviously Godly Flamu didn't notice it, so the ship is shite......

So why not try one before you decry them?

I would say it's mainly due to the hatchet job Flamu did on the Vermont TBH, bit of DCP from WG for the line....

Can't confirm or decline as I am not the one deciding about that. But honestly, it would be nice to have events like that for every line.
