Cannon fodder is an informal, derogatory term for combatants who are regarded or treated by government or military command as expendable in the face of enemy fire.

Maybe Im new to this situation but Playing T7-T8 cruiser in the mornings has become a nightmare, playing against Tx bbs/CVs, yes more XP great but good luck in getting it. Kite, smoke one shot and you are gone. Using all the tricks in the book still managing to do 55% in an Amalfi but still NOT FUN.

and I thought this is a good morning message to the forum :cap_haloween:

on the subject,

Yeah being a tier 8 cruiser in a tier 10 match sometimes bugs me too.. but it really depends on the map.

Some maps are too big for tier 8s.. some are good..

I remember being a stock cleveland in an almost tier 10 match in ocean..

oh hello yamato, who has the double of my range :) what should we do now?

Do not get into Tier X battles with a Tier VII ship. You can prevent that.

The rest is positioning.

Actually it is very hard to play any cruisers against TX BBs nowadays as most of them will just stay 20+ kms away and snipe.

Luckily the new skill system will change this gameplay.

Oh wait...

Tier XI guided missile cruisers will solve this problem soon enough.

Well they already experimented with guided missiles that was planned for an alternate soviet (ofcourse) dd line but they abandoned it but i expect a revisit.

That would make it rather easy. More room to move.

Nothing new here. Yes, running a T8 Cruiser uptiered vs T10 BBs is challenging. The challenge is rewarding if one can survive. So, do your best to survive (as long as possible).

Not much more enjoyable in this game than forcing a T10 BB to retreat & all you have is a T8 Cruiser. :cap_rambo: Your team will like you.

how about Nurnberg in tier 8 battles. This system +2 -2 is really hard on cruisers and dds. not so much on cvs and bbs.

+1 -1 is only normal and sane option.
