Thats exactly what im testing this season. Second week - I wasnt sure if I made the right decision. This week - its awesome. A walk in the park. In bronze, AFKers und Yoloers seem to be gone aswell (they have moved to silver+ with their dedication I guess xD). Easy and fast path to the rewards.

I think, the system still has a lot of flaws, that WG really needs to work on.

I stay in silver and found it quite easy this sprint.

Have seen aircancer only twice and both were abysmally bad. Comrade Tashkent and I lost only one star during the whole sprint.

Then I made a few Qualifications for the lols. Oh Gawd! It was so bad! Also aircancer everywhere...

So, yea, try Silver if you like. It isnt bad. I personally love that I can choose from a way bigger pool of ships then bronze or gold .

We have 2 requests:

- to be rid of bots and sociopaths

- to be able to play games that are not ruined by patatos and glue sniffers

simple answer: organize your own tournament ...

Ah is it that simple.

Silly me, I thought this game should provide a satisfying gaming experience :cap_haloween:

look, if the game does NOT provide what you want, go elsewhere or substitute with your own resources. there are plenty of different tournaments taking place around the year, some known and promoted, some unknown. you did not mention any rewards in your post, so it should be pretty cheap to organize ... I mean KotS had to start somehow as well ...

expecting everything to come to you for free is rather rich ...

This is from a battle today at gold league. The Bourgogne is clearly a bot (35K battles, and 42%WR), and died pretty fast. Salem and Mino entered the latter's smoke at less than 10 kms of a Stalin and a Desmoines just at the beginning. I mean, I don't think anyone can enjoy this BS, specially battle after battle. And I have the right, as a costumer, to complain, even if you don't like it.

Please consider this is a publicly available game, not a closed club. It has its downsides. I am not saying you are not correct, it's just you cannot complain about other customer. Imagine going into Ford and complaining that another Ford driver was speeding ... what will they do about that ? What CAN they do about that ?

There is a semblance of teamwork (may by accidental) and there is generally a common aim to win. Things that are not seen in random battles these days. I can barely force myself to play random battles these days as the MM shafts you constantly with tiering (unless you play tier 10) and the battle quality is generally abysmal. The only downside is the presence of the "no fun for you class".

One thing I had not really fully realised about this new format is that you don't get promoted to the next league straight away but only in the next sprint.

So that means after you pass Quali, the whole Sprint is over for you.

On the whole, that feels like a drawback.

Small update, finished Bronze, now qualification for Silver ... the change is awesome ... I could actually play a DD for once in a Kitakaze, great support from a Missouri and Gearing, actual cooperation ... and no CV in the q ... I think I'll try my best to qualify and stay in Silver ...

I think that is actually a good thing. I can rank out in a League in about 2-3 days + 1 day for the qualifiers to next League ... then a few days to do OTHER things while the next Sprint starts ...

Please consider not complaining about a customer in the pub you frequent when said customer starts pissing against your legs. :Smile_sceptic:

Thanks. The Pub.

I am playing gold now and it's not bad. As always, it is hard to make an objective call on this, but it seems like there are fewer sociopaths and glue sniffers in gold. So far so good.

Overall I am not unhappy with the new ranked system. It is less of an excruciating grind than the old ranked seasons and the gameplay seems decent enough, certainly an improvement over what you see in randoms these days. So I enjoy it.

hit r2 in silver, lost 4 in a row and saved my star 4 times in des moines .. then i moved back to r3 after 5th loss .. nice

still i like the changes even though we need the signals rewards back . they are getting to rare and gives whales a p2w advantage and i aint using research points or coal or credits in the armory for signals

Yeah I miss the signals too.

In normal random I have been running a lean signal setup now for over half a year: just the few most important signals. It works fine for me, so that's a way to economise on signals. F.e. I used to run deto on DDs standard, but don't any more. So you blow up in 1-2% of games, not a big deal.

In ranked I run full signals set up, but am running low on some signals, so that's inconvenient.

Can i voluntarily go back to silver league since i am a liability for my Team?

yes you can , you don't have to do the qualification of gold rank , after you reach rank 1 you have to do a qaulification as welll, i did this to say in silven intentionaly

Yeah problem is in ranked you need signals to be competative and you just dont get any setting you at a disadvantage from the start.

This is my current signal situation , and notice i'm on my last deto flag

Wow, that's not much :cap_wander_2:

My advice on deto: never run deto on BBs or cruisers. They detonate so rarely that it is pure waste. Run deto on DDs only in competitive, not in random (not in coop if any madman would contemplate that. In coop I strip my ships of all camo and signals, unless I need 1 signal for a particular task).

So in random you detonate 1 in 50 or 100 games, and presto, you have another 10 deto signals :cap_like:

Finaly every team is carryable, because everyone but you is equally bad. Doesnt matter if your team dies, you can just rape the enemies back :cap_haloween:

Ohhh, this is going to make you laugh...

A few days ago I was getting fed up at rank 4 in gold. I then went in to CV mode playing all but Midway. And boy what a ride I had. Fourteen straight defeats taught me how challenged the player base is in CV battles. :cap_wander_2:

I then went on twelve battle Smaland & Somers winning streak back to Rank 3 before slipping back playing the Thunderer. :Smile_izmena:

Overall, I like the format, but the player base needs to smarten up in CV battles. Team work is the only way to Rank 1 and hope I can meet a few more to help me get there.

Don't take it seriously! If I did, would I have come back from 14 straight defeats.:Smile_teethhappy:
