Stupid WG ships

why in gods name have you made the Kansas one large citadel hitbox, the ship is useless,  i got citadelled by a dds main guns, this papership is worthles, dont buy it, its rigged.

 

i have read the file and watched the videos on the i ship, and on paper it is wery powerfull huge guns and thick armour, but in game it is utterly useless, i even tried the recomended commander skils but to no avail.

 

Why just why.

To be honest, you are a very bad BB player.

The Kansas isn't a great ship. But, judging by your stats, the fundamental issue here is you, not the ship.

The Kanas isn't a great ship. But used correctly it can still hit like a truck. It seems to me after looking at your profile the issue is you not the ship. You are averaging less than 35k damage a game in a tier 8 ship, that right there should tell you, you are doing something wrong.

well despite of exstensive research and training for weeks , i apparently cant hit anything,  at close range like 1 km a full broadside dosent impact or do any damage at all,  and i know where to hit, but nothing,   and i do not believe stats they are manipulated all the time by wg,

Really? Do you have an example?

 

And no, I never missed with Kansas from 1 km and especially not regularly. Yes, at 14km+ she can be quite unreliable, but that is why WG is improving her Sigma a second time (I would have prefered a reload time reduction).

Well of course you wont believe the stats of the ship, if you did that you would have to confront the issue that you arnt very good. 

 

I hated the ship, I thought it was terrible, yet I still managed to average 78686 damage a game  ( I'm sure there are a lot of player out there that do even more damage than that ). . Thats over double your damage. Now, ask yourself this, if Im doing over double your damage in the same ship, that would mean you are bad in the ship, correct ?.

Stats are fine... they are correct and not manipulated in any way...

 

What you might need is to play CoOp and/or Training room and practice the aiming!

Seriously. Kansas is a big old slow lump but she has more of a problem with HE than citadel hits. If that's happening it's because you're showing too much broadside or because other ships are getting too close*.

 

* Or it's a Russian "light" cruiser firing at your broadside. They can do nasty things.

Kansas can't be that bad, considering OP is doing roughly 10k less average damage in her than in Sov. Soyuz which is clearly one of the strongest ships. 

 

I'd say, everything is fine. ^^

Just looked up the AP pen. Kleber, Grozovoi or Z-23 look most likely - probably through the bow/athwartships from close range?
