Hizen Dockyard campaign guide

Dockyard campaign missions:

 

Each stage you can earn 3 tokens

Missions within a stage that get you a token are in bold.

Completion of a stage gets you the 3rd token.

 

For the first stage, you need to complete 6 missions, presumably that is the same for the other stages (not completely clear, but the norm for previous dockyards).

Each stage has 8 missions to choose from.

 

Stage 1 – Complete 6 missions. Reward: token

All T5 ships and up

 

1      Earn 5 spotted ribbons Randoms, Ranked , Co-op

2      Win 6 battles Randoms, Ranked Co-op

3      Earn 12 000 Base XP (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op, Clan B, Scenario) OR 2200 Base XP in a single battle (Randoms, Ranked)

4      Earn 1.2 miliion HP damage (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op) or 165k HP damage in a single battle (Randoms, Ranked).

5      BB, Earn 40 Hits to citadel or destroyed ribbons, BB, (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op)

6      CA/CL , Earn1200 Main battery hits, Cruiser, (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op)

7      DD, Earn 400k damage, (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op)

8      CV, T6+, Earn 620k spotting damage, (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op)

 

Stage 2

All T5 ships and up

 

1      Earn 650 Ribbons, (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op)

2      Earn 2.4 million credits, (Randoms, Ranked, Co-o

3      Earn 75k XP (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op, Clan Battles, Operations)

4      Earn 30 Destroyed ribbons (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op)

5      BB, Earn 1.3 million HP damage, (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op) or cause 150k HP damage, Randoms and ranked

6      CA/CL, Earn 50 hits to citadel or torpedo hits, (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op), or earn 10 hits to citadel/ torpedo hit ribbons in a single battle (Random or Ranked).

7      DD, Earn 32 captured/assisted in capture/defended (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op) or earn 12 captured/assisted in capture/defended in a single battle (Random or Ranked).

8      CV, T6+, Earn 1.5 million  HP damage (Random, Ranked, Co-op) or cause 155k HP damage (Random or Ranked)

 

 

Stage 3

All T5 ships and up

 

1  Earn 1.5m credits, (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op, Clan Battles, Operations)

2  Earn 1000 Main battery/secondary battery hits (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op)

3  Earn 20.000 Base XP (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op, Clan battles, Operations) or earn 2500 Base XP in a single battle (Randoms, Ranked)

4  In 20 Battles top 5 in your team (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op) or earn 5 achievements in a single battle (Randoms, Ranked)

5  BB, Earn 900 Main battery hits ribbons, (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op)

6  CA/CL, Earn 21 million HP potential damage (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op)

7  DD, Earn 75 Torpedo hits (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op)

8  CV, T6+, Earn 950k HP damage by torpedoes or flooding, (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op)

 

Stage 4

All T5 ships and up

 

1  Spot 100 torpedoes (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op)

2  In 10 battles be top 5 in XP (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op)

3  Earn 5 million credits (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op, Clan Battles, Operations)

4  Cause 1.95 million HP damage to ships (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op)

5  BB, Earn 38.5 million HP potential damage (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op) or 3.8 million HP potential damage in a single battle (Randoms, Ranked)

6  CA/CL, Earn 200 Spotted/Hits to citadel/Set on fire ribbons (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op) or earn 18 Hits to citadel/Set on fire ribbons (Randoms, Ranked)

7  DD, Earn 100 Set on fire/Caused flooding ribbons (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op) or earn 14 Set on fire/Caused flooding ribbons in a single battle (Randoms, Ranked)

8  CV, Earn 120 Hits to citadel/Destroyed ribbons (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op), or earn 17 Hits to citadel ribbons in a single battle (Randoms, Ranked), T6+

 

Stage 5

All T5 ships and up

 

1  Earn 35k Base XP (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op, Clan Battles, Operations)

2  Win 10 Battles (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op)

3  Ean 27k Base XP (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op) or earn 2.8k Base XP in a single battle (Randoms, Ranked)

4  Earn 50 Destroyed ribbons (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op) or cause 200k HP Damage  in a single battle (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op)

5  BB, Earn 120 Hits to Citadel/Set on fire ribbons (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op)

6  CA/CL, Cause 1.35 million HP damage (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op)

7  DD,  Cause 560k Spotting damage (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op)

8  CV, Cause 2.4 million HP damage, T6+ (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op)

 

Stage 6

All T5 ships and up

 

1  Earn 12 spotted ribbons (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op)

2  Earn 4.5 million credits (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op)

3  Earn 120k XP (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op, Clan Battles, Operations)

4  Cause 2.7 million HP damage (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op)

5  BB, Earn 40 Destroyed/Incapacitations ribbons (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op) or  earn12 Destroyed/Incapacitations ribbons in a single battle (Randoms, Ranked)

6  CA/CL, Cause 450k spotting damage (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op) or cause 45k spotting damage in a single battle (Randoms, Ranked)

7  DD, Earn 70 Captured/Assisted in capture/Destroyer ribbons (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op) or cause 170k damage in a single battle (Randoms, Ranked).

8  CV, T6+,  Earn 140 Destroyed/Incapacitations ribbons (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op) or earn 12 Incapactitation ribbons in a single battle (Randoms, Ranked).

 

Stage 7 Completing this stage gets you 2 tokens rather than 1 

All T5 ships and up

 

1  Earn 10 Destroyed ribbons (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op)

2  In 12 battles be top 5 (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op)

3  Earn 6.1 million credits (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op, Clan Battles, Operations)

4  Earn 55k Base XP (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op, Clan Battles, Operations)

5  BB, Cause 2.75 million HP damage (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op) or cause 215k damage in a single battle (Randoms, Ranked).

6  CA/CL, Cause 2 million HP damage (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op) or cause 205k HP damage in a single battle (Randoms, Ranked)

7  DD,  Cause 1.5 million HP damage (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op) or cause 180k HP damage in a single battle (Randoms, Ranked)

8  CV, T6+, Cause 2.75 million HP damage (Randoms, Ranked, Co-op) or cause 180k HP damage in a single battle (Randoms, Ranked).

Thanks! Some of the later ones do seem quite grindy, especially the 55k base xp mission that you need for a shipbuilding phase, but it does seem doable. Not really seeing the PR levels of nutty fruitcake here.

My first impression as well. Notable differences between this and PR idiocy:

 

- EVERYTHING can be done with T5 ships (or T6 CV's)

- You can get stages done using Co-op

- NO specific ship or nation requirements

- NO major advantage gained by buying a specific ship from the Premium Store.

 

For the final stage, you have 14 days or so to complete. In total you have ALMOST 2 months to complete (57 days).

Looks doable when ik take into account I am focused on getting phase 15 only and the time we have for this mission. Throwing extra money on this ( the 9950 d package) will really ease up the grind. Although then you might get focused on getting bonus tiers for the steel and RP...

 

For now looking at both the Strasbourg and the Hizen tasks I think I can play semi relaxed to get Strasbourg, Yahagi, Tashibana and probably Furataka for free.

21 directive stages+4 stages (5000 doublons)=25

I hope it is enough to do 6 of 8. Otherwise i´d be in trouble too.

All seem to be easily done especially when compared to previous dockyards.

Some of missions seems grindy but not as much as during PR. Perfectly doable without nolifing. No country restriction and no Strasbourg in missions? Last year as I remember Gorizia had her missions in PR Marathon.

IIRC you could do the whole thing without Gorizia, but the early stages (which needed to completed quickly to get PR done in time) were a whole lot easier (almost a cakewalk compared to the other demands) if you had Gorizia in port.

Will focus on Strassbourg first and Hizen far far after that. The fact that you can use Hizen in the Strasbourg grind is crazy... will focus on Strassbourg task in a way that is the most efficient. Will glance to see if I can get some progress on the Hizen campaign but my goal is set on the 4 k Yahagi compensation. Also even if the 2 months is nice January is again a working month so not that much time to spend...while mission requirements go up.

 

But if I would go full Hizen I would buy the 9950 d. package for those 10 extra bonus phases. Would be almost the same grind that I am planning now (16 vs Yahagi 15) while receiving some extra phase rewards ( like 2k steel) for those 10k doubloons.

Luckily I spent my doubloons on Massachusets and have zero interest in Hizen.  

Will focus on Ranked and maybe the Strassbourg campaign if I have time left over.

 

Yet another patch where I get to enjoy ships i like and ignore stupid WG grinds and might even earn some Research points along the way.

Nice question. Can somebody give more info on that.
I can spend 5000 for a T9 BB. But if turns out you have to spend more gold for the last phases anyway....this is gonna be a suckage on an epic proportions.

You need atleast 4 phases completed by cash. You can grind 22 out of 26. But it does not matter if you buy those 4 required at the start or in the end. Look at it as that you need 26 steps. Does not matter if you go from step 1 to 4 at the start with the purchased ones and then complete the other 22 grind steps after that. Or first complete 22 steps and then buy the next 4 to reach 26.

 

Only you get a small discount when you buy the 4 steps at the start. Now you get 4 for 5k if you buy them afterwards they are 1950 a piece... But there is a risk...if you invest in front and then can’t finish the grind...you either lost your investment or have to pay even more...

Wargaming are offering two Starter Packages: 

10 Phases for 9,950 Doubloons

 4 Phases for 5,000 Doubloons

 1 Phase for 1,950 Doubloons

The Starter Packages will no longer be available once you have completed 4 Phases from combat missions.

 

You can therefore buy Hizen outright for 38,350 Doubloons. Completing the last four phases will give you:

Phase 23: 10,000 Coal

Phase 24: "Santa's Mega Gift" Container

Phase 25: 2,000 Steel

Phase 26: Tier 9 IJN Battleship Hizen with additional "Winter"-themed permaflage.

 

Once you have Hizen any subsequent Dockyard tokens you receive from combat missions will reward 400 Research Points and 200 Steel (for Whales).

 

E.G. If you splurged on the 9,950 booster you'll get up to an additional 1,200 Steel and 2,400 RP. If you buy both boosters you can get up to 2,000 Steel and 4,000 RP.

 

Remember there are 57 days to complete the 22 Phases over 7 Directives. The 7th Directive will be available for 15 days until the end of 0.10.0. The Dockyard will remain until the end of 0.10.1 if you do need to rush any Phases at the end (like Odin and Anchorage).
