removal of legendary missions

when wg talked about removing the missions for legendary modules, they talked about a possible compensation for those who are close to finnish it but havent. 

does anyone know any news on this ?

When you have 12 tier 10 legendary missions  to finish its not that easy, especially if you dont play tier10 only.

Yup. Had to decide which legendaries not to get. No Shima and Z-52 for me. Luckily got the Gearing one during an event. Didn't have the CVs to get the missions for them.

Going to barely finish the Grozo one (10k bXP left to get).

 

I've been doing the missions in between events, as the events are often requiring different ships.

ofc, thats why i grinded only those ships that i play actively, there is so many unused t10 in my port so why bother with those

Somewhat older post already, but perhaps because:

  • Game balancing happens every patch
  • UU costs 20k RP

Some ships might not be meta right now, but could be very well the meta in 2 months...

Not many of them "Legendary" mods are worth getting anyway so I wont be sad to see them go

(suppose that is what WG wanted, pay more / get less)

Real good ones nerfed to oblivion (Zao) 

19200 RB points is next level of stupid

I havo no idea whether true or not, but I have seen some players state that - with judicious use of camos and flags - the overall effort required to get the Unique Upgrades / Legendary Mods through the missions or the RB is not that different if you are clever in you line resets.

 

That said, one major pain is the fact that the RB points for the modules now compete with RB points for ships.

For me the major difference was that the Legendary Modules were gained through a standard grind while the new Unique Upgrades are gained through a re-grind of the line.   I don't mind a grind but I do not enjoy a re-grind.

That's not true. Extending the duration of the missions would physically and mentally harm the people at WG. Just the thought of being customer friendly can cause an apoplectic episode.

Besides, isn't their pay being docked when they don't lower rewards and increase the grind on everything?

well, i play ships that i like in general, i wont be suddenly playing f.e. CV even if they make them invincible....

but since they tend to change the leg. modules lately, i grinded even those that sux a lot now, since i dont want to spend retarded points on them.

so some people got legendary tools and you have to fight them in unbalance  battle in same ship, wargaming has different behavier here which is fucked up ,world of tanks which I play for 9 years already has more sence into it ,alot more .
