Starting from Update 0.10.1, the following ships will no longer be available to obtain: IX Georgia, IX Alaska, VIII Massachusetts, X Thunderer, and X Småland. Georgia, Alaska, and Massachusetts will also no longer be available to purchase in the Premium Shop.

The ships have been taken out of the game due to a combination of their popularity and combat efficiency. In order to maintain the proper level of diversity in teams in terms of the ships they are made up of, these ships will no longer be available to obtain for an indefinite period of time, but may return in future.

probably they were to popular to play, you see a lot of thunderers and georgias lately so they try to put an end to them, doesnt really help. but wg is wg - stupid decisions one after another

What are you on about.....  Maybe best to read the patch notes properly.. The ships are being added to be available with Dubloons in patch 0.9.12

The ships will not be available by ANY means..  with Georgia, Massachusetts and Alaska being removed from the Prem shop as well as from the in game currency that they are available for at the moment.

my argument still stand they say they are over populating or op. and therfore have to go and still they add more ways to get more out..........

I wonder how they think they could counter "overpopulation" without an actual reduction of the population. It's not that those ships will decay after a year in port, as none of them is Russian.

Well it kinda makes sense i guess.

You can buy those ships with a discount now. If you buy them directly for money, you wont. Now you can buy doubloons and use a coupon to get it cheaper. 15k dubs is 50€, T9 premiums are sold for 63€ or something like that.

So i think they just hope to get more people to buy them, before the removal.

The option to get them for doubloons is being added in 0.9.12. They become completely unavailable to obtain in 0.10.1. In the interim you will be able to obtain them for doubloons as well as currencies they have been available for until now. This shouldn't be complicated, it's all explained if you read it carefully.
