Do we really have to reset every tree, or are they already blank except the specific class ship tree currently in use, when you log into the test server ? I hope 3/4 of the trees are reset like they would be on a new captain.

 

I do not think having separate trees is so bad, before when moving a captain from bb to cruiser you had to reset the tree, now having distinct trees you may not have to reset it if the standard build suits the ship. So instead of paying the reset, you pay for retraining, but idk if it is more expensive ?

 

What is more questionable in my situation is the disparition of survivability skills on big cruisers :( and the hassle to try and re-spec all captains...

What is going to happen with the special commanders which we currently can buy for 1.500 dubloons or 35.000 coal in the Armory? The article is only mentioning the below and it astonish me that we have to pay 250 dubloons more to get a 10 pnt captain without 2 (or 3) special skills in comparison with the current situation in Armory.

 

Other Changes

The cost and number of skills for recruited Commanders will change so that, if necessary, a player will be able to recruit a Commander with more skill points.

  • Commander without skills: recruited free of charge.
  • Commander with 6 skill points: available for 900,000 credits.
  • Commander with 10 skill points: available for 1,750 doubloons.

The Saddest thing is Wargaming Will Not Listen no matter how many CC's or Players say it won't work they will extend the Finger and do it anyway, Basically SNAFU.

W.G developers - if you are listening , then if you haven't already I would suggest you watch FLAMU's & Potato Quality Videos which sum up many of the issues with the new skills.

 

I personally agree with both CC's on the fact that you are creating a game were backline camping is the norm & SO BORING because of  :-

 

1. Current Brawling Battleships will not push in , secondaries ineffective, plus Dead Eye encourages camping at the back.

 

2. Cruisers survivability reduced significantly.

 

3. CV's aircraft once again buffed (The only Class that cannot be harmed ??) 

 

This is nuts , why change something that isn't perfect to something that is looking really poor for the Game ??

From today's announcement in the launcher, if there was a doubt they confirm the range upgrade will be applied to cruisers as well, that's great imo ! need to farm more freeXP to get the Agir with secondary meme build :cap_haloween:

But without manual secondaries / any dispersion buff it will be useless ? cruisers don't get that skill anymore

edit : cruisers won't have range +20% skill either, well, this is garbage :Smile_sceptic: remove the "brawler" skill that nobody will ever pick, and give use some fire prevention or secondary skill back please

Non elite commanders will now contribute 5% exp towards elite commander exp and 100% once they become elite.
