CV rework like mess incoming. Wargaming just doesn't learn. 

And this just sounds very bad for veteran players: money grab and significant grind increase. Taking away our max commanders we worked towards and having to restart that grind.

It's not just Siegfried. I, and others I know have quite a few 'Secondary' build ships. This untested and un asked for change removes this option. I (and many others) like the ability to focus secondary fire on specific targets, without it secondaries become just a gimmick.

Come on wg please for once listen to your player base instead of doing your usual head in the sand thing. Also why buff atlanta and not flint? They're the same ship pretty much.

Phew, so my Atlanta was saved(range at least, it still loses some AA performance and RoF). Good thing this update comes before the Alaska removal so i can watch some new reviews before buying. If the FP changes kill the large cruisers i guess i will have to spend the 1mil free exp i'm grinding now on whatever replaces the Alaska... or the DAKKA DAKKA Dutch destroyer at tier 9.

If you sail under premium conditions (pun) with all the whistles & bells on, you can crank out perhaps 25k cmd exp/game.

That translates roughly into 50 played (and good!) games. For each commander you want to level from 19 to 21. :cap_fainting:

 

"In order to let you comfortably try out different builds during Update 0.10.0:

The cost of commander retraining will be lowered by 90% — from 500 to 50 doubloons."

- Sure. But almost free is not the same as free.

Say you hold 50 ships (probably not unreasonable) ~ 2500 doubloons.

Even with the 1100 you can grind *sigh* it' still 1400.

 

Looks like its time to join the "WG-bashing" bandwagon......

It looks like you seem to think that veteran players have some bearing on this game, or WG has some interest in making the game for the players. I'm not sure how to let you down gently but they don't, and it's not. 

 

Wargaming have learned. If they make a confusing, high speed, quick turnover, unrealistic game with plenty of power-creep to keep new players spending quite astronomic sums on ships that look really nice - well, then they make a lot of money.

 

They have learned it so well from WOT that, by applying the same formula to WOWS, they will continue to make lots of money.

 

I know it's not what we want them to learn, but then we aren't keeping them in fur lined hats anyway..... :Smile_glasses:

If those 1,2 Mio !! are correct, I think that could be the proverbial drop that makes the barrel overflow for me....... 35 x 1,2 Mio to get all my tier X captains with 19 skillpoints back to elite status..... that's like nullyfying and ridicule all efforts about elite captains made in regard of achieving top level commanders in the past.....

 

Not to speak about commanders that until 0.10.0 were trainined for DDs, but were also suitable to use on cruisers with small caliber main guns  (e.g. Atlanta, Krazny Krim, Flint, etc.) . It's like you are taking away commanders with Elite Status from all players who possess those ships !  Will we get compensated for this *devaluational fraud* by changing the rules in any way or are the 2,9 Mio (for each of those ships concerned!) commander XP required to train completely new commanders for those ships just part of your macchiavellic plan to urge ppl to spend real cash to be able to at least keep the *Status Quo* ???

 

What's next ?   Resetting all accounts, so everybody can start again from scratch and requesting a payment of $249.99 for the first 3 months ?

also good timing, regrinding lines for the buro is getting a bit stale tbh. might be time to also throw in some subs to make it interresting again!
