I am the one who cant see option to refund xmas boxes ? As i know there was link just for making ticket to refund xmas boxes.. Should i open paypal dispute ?

After finding out about this on Monday, ticketed for re-roll with refund.

 

Very quick re-roll for me - thumbs up there.

 

However only offering to refund two out of four purchases, really?

 

I'll wait for response to ticket, I expect to be refunded in full - remember this is your mistake, and your offer to resolve that I have agreed to accept, therefore you are obliged to fulfill.

Oh well they replied to my ticket... but i dont even know if they refund all my boxes.. i am afraid they will not :( And then they want to roll back account from dec23 to dec14... so who will compensate my tech line ship grind, credits, exp and prem time...

Automated response only works. so i think we stuck like others do. I am not planning stop gaming whole month till i get refunded, i have prem time on and i want use it properly.

Two weeks, 8+ days from the last response. Manual refund ( no saves available for automatic rollback ).

So far it seems that everybody that requested or got forced into manual, are all stuck.

And anybody playing the game ( like most ), is just going to make the manual rollback even more complex as items get consumed / used.

The refunds will be handled according to the normal procedure – the goods from the containers should still be on your account, otherwise, Customer Support will have to do a roll-back to restore them and process the refund.

 

Regardless of whether you were considering Santa Containers at all, we hope you will enjoy all of the holiday activities and gifts this year – stay tuned for more news on the upcoming celebration.

Let us additionally clarify the situation with the 2020 Santa Containers. Some of you received a response from Customer Support that only a roll-back is possible for your account, even if you still own the goods received from the containers.

That was an unfortunate miscommunication on our side, caused by the large volume of tickets we received yesterday, our apologies! If you got such a response, please submit a new ticket to Customer support. We will also send a personal notification to all affected players, whose tickets were answered in this manner, but this may take some time.

 

All tickets will be correctly resolved! If you still own the goods from the containers, we will refund the requested purchases as promised. However, due to the large amount manual work involved with removing the received items from your account, your ticket may take a week or more to be completed. 

Customer support will offer you either a roll-back and refund (this can be processed quickly) or a manual restoration and refund (this may take some time to complete). Please bear in mind, if some of the goods are no longer on your account, we can only process the refund together with an account roll-back, as communicated earlier.

 

We hope that clarifies the situation and thank you for patience.

Due to the large amount of requests we extend the opportunity to request Santa Containers refund until 27th December 12:00 UTC.

This is the reason why they have laws in China to prevent players getting shafted by "black boxes". Really visionary, them. 
And whether a scam has always worked like that is not a relevant argument, newer players won't have time and/or stamina to research the whole history of "how WOWS things worked in the past..."

Ohhh yes since 8/9th of december. At the beginning I was just mildly irritated, then it moved to somewhat irritated, then it moved to very irritated and now I am just fluffing pissed off.

It's not so much the wait, it's the silence from WarGaming that gets to me, it's is so infuriating and degrading as a customer to be ignored, nothing is worse in a crisis situation, than silence from Wargaming.

No update, no recognition of mishandeling of the situation, no talk of fair compensation for inconvenience, no talk of customers losing premium days because they cant play the game in fear of having your claim dismissed, No talk of lost gametime, no talk of lost progress, no talk of not being able to play the game through the holiday season. Nothing.......... Just Plain Nothing.

24th of december today, Christmas is here, and that mean spend time with loved ones to celebrate. So for the next days probably until after New Year NOTHING will happen NOTHING!!!!!

 

Never again WarGaming, Never again.

 

#NeverAgainWargaming let this trend so people can show their frustration, with the treatment by Wargaming on this issue.

Call me cynical, but I get the sense Wargaming are delaying in the hope people will use what they purchased, so making a refund impossible.

I think its more of " maybe they cancel refund if we make them wait ". I sent a ticket for manual, then i was told to send automatic rollback for faster results . I didnt mind, i dont played much in last 2 weeks. Deleted first ticket, then i couldnt find another Santa Crate category, so i sent under " Rollback " yesterday. Not even an automated reply in the last 24 hours.

 

Not to mention they effectively lock out players from the Xmas stuff, why should i play if i get rollbacked. But with the supports "dead snail in slow motion " speed, this is really funny with the current time-gated missions and campaigns.

Still funny if you made huge progress in ship grinding or something but WG wont even compensate anything if they roll back lol. I dont even know if i want play again if they roll back all of my progress... Shame WG maybe just need open paypal dispute and write complain to EU directives about this

Yeah, i can understand the pain of that too. Whatever we do, WG gonna screw us over anyways. However, i wont let go my refund, its not that i was not satisfied with my results, but its more of sending a message.

I am afraid even we will get something... I lost trust over WG staff. 3days left till they finish up with refunding. Right now even tickets not updated or something. Kinda sick then they will roll back and will need regrind everything cuz WG messed up. Cool

Its 3 days left till you can ask for a refund with a ticket. Im sure submitted cases have to be refunded even after dec 27.

I am disappointed in the content of these containers. Is Wargaming so tight that out of 20 containers one cannot obtain a ship. Not good for new players, in fact I think I would be spending Zero hours playing this game starting from now. Shame on you.

It's very important that players/customers like you voice your opinion on the subject, with 5000+ battles I would say you are a VIP player/customer that WarGaming would hate to disappoint so what you say and do relating to this matter will be taken serious.

Us newbs with less than 1000 battles are ignored by default, strangely enough because we are potential customers of premium time and ships because the game is designed to promote this, I dare to say you can't play without premium time in the beginning, and you need premium ships and economical flags to make credits, no credits no progress ......

 

Come to mind, why am I playing World of Warships and World of Tanks on both the EU and NA servers, throwing €$£ at WarGaming, and let them treat me like crap??????

I could just cut the strings and move on, in the end it's up to me who I throw €$£ at, and what kind of treatment I will accept!!!!!

That amount of battle is 80% coop and operations, so i'm a second rate citizen here :) I only have like 800 random, WG completely killed my will to play randoms with the CV rework. I spent like 250 USD on xmas boxes, i got stuff worth way more of that, around 400 USD combined, including one of the rarest ships in the game, but i still gonna refund. As i said, its not about i missing the money, its about sending a message.

 

I didnt even wanted to refund first, but i read about the upcoming captain skill rework no one asked for, so i decided to take the offer. Too much crap in the last 2 years, CV Rebork, Puerto Rico , Research Bureau, IFHE rework, Santa Crates, now that captain skill rework. I decided this as the last straw. WG only understands the language of money only, so i replied in the same language.

Same ... Used to play Random and these days co-op is the game mode to be. Not toxic, the AI is not using carriers to deliberately ruin your fun. Random is just useless with CVs making the map almost perma spotted ( radar also does not help ) and everybody camping more and more. Stealth Destroyers as a meta is frankly dead. And the whole obsoleting old premiums just hurts.

 

I am a beta player. That means i have a rare beta ship. A ship that you can not use because it has exactly 0 AA. In games where you get 1 to 2 carriers, who know you have no AA. Rare ship? Paperweight. Atlanta, my first premium. Paperweight. So many ships become useless not only with the meta change but also the player base simply camping ( and Wargaming even pushing this meta with the captain rework and a lot of long range sniping ships ).

 

But finding out that my "luck" with the santa containers was rigged. Now that pushed me over the edge.

 

For me, it has ended. I just open the game to try out some stuff but almost never really play anymore. Just knoking off some snowflakes in coop. But that is it these days. Its already has become so grindy. So much is about money money, more money that i do not recognize the game anymore, from what i started with. The santa containers incident was a wake up call how i was being treated as customer. So yea, another Whale going to the beach.

 

I am sure Wargaming does not care because the influx of coronatime players. But the good times do not last forever especially for a company that seems to think its players are sheep that need to be drained for every cent. And lets be honest, ... the amount of money going into the games development tends to be a fraction of making one from zero because most things are already established. Yet, why the need for so much more greed?

 

Anyway ... still waiting for any movement on the refunds. Looks like any refund will be 2021. They better not try to pull a "but you used X already so we do not refund", when they are the one's that literally did nothing for weeks on end! Because then it will be time to get the media involved and not just the WOW community. There are several countries that do investigation into loot box behavior and i will gladly push them into action.
