You should highlight this part:

 

'If you already have a black ship from the Black Friday 2020, Black Friday 2019, or Black Friday 2018 containers, and if that particular ship drops for you again—you'll receive 2,500 doubloons; a Port slot; Commander with 10 skill points; and the combat mission with a doubloon reward for the standard version of that ship'.

 

This change has been very tricky.

I'd love to see the previous years' black ships being available for sale either individually or as a yearly bundle, e.g. "Black Fleet 2018". The full bundle is way too expensive (say I wanted a Massa B or Asashio B) and gambling with boxes pointless but I'd open my wallet for these.

Is it possible to buy captains from previous years individually?
If I were to get a ship from an older year, buying all 4 captains just to use 1 of them is a bit... expensive, but buying only the individual captain would be doable price-wise.

Please be careful when decide to buy Massachusetts B battleship this Black Friday. In description mentioned that you will receive 2500 doubloons for 1st 5 victories. I bought it, won co-op, received nothing. Logged ticket to support.

Bought myself 2750 doubloons to throw away at those 11 specials in the armory for 250 doubloons each. some camos, some flags, 12,000  free xp, 5000 coal, 1.5 million credits, 8 days of premium, cossack b and an atago b. I would say that I got my value out of that one.

The letter "B" makes the difference. People assume that the mission is for the ship they bought, if it was clearly mentioned the sales would go down but with letter "B" they fool you, me and so many players-clients. Covered?

If you have the normal Massa and you get a Massa B from a container, you get a mission to compensate you with 2500 doubloons since you have the same ship.

It is very nice and friendly of WG.

 

Sadly, a lot of people miss the fine print and think they can do the mission in the B version.

This happens every year.

the black ships are new ships that are identical to their non black counterparts. Black ships are heavily discounted during black friday. To compensate players who already have the normal version and get the black version, they give out the mission for 2500 doubloons. And 25,000 coal for Jean Bart. You wouldn´t want to buy a black ship version of a ship you already have, but in case the b version drops out of a container you get compensated for the value of 2 containers basically.

And an off topic, Clients who bought arp Yamato, they are many of them give the right for more shady tactics.

If we (including me) had more reasonable common sense as buyers things would be much better.

I did not have Massa, that`s why I bought this B version. In this case they should clearly state that all bonuses related to original Massa only and not to B version. Another cheater approach.

Clearly stated is like: For owners of original Massachusetts as compensation are available missions for 2500 doubloons. Not just using ship name without B letter as per my opinion. Am I wrong?

They are in the Armory at 30% off individually except Alaska that is only at 15%.
