A glitch which unties camera from the ship (no, my ship is not sunken)

I've heard about such glitches, but never experienced one - the camera stopped, ship just went past and left the screen. I can't move camera, I can however shoot, use consumables, change size of the minimap, exit battle, the UI works. Not sure how widespread the issue is, but there is nothing you can do, the game didn't crash. Leaving it for the reference.

What you should do with this information is contact support and file a bug report.
I've had this issue once years ago, so it's not new or at least there used to be a similar problem.
Btw are you absolutely sure you didn't press ctrl+shift+backspace during that battle ?

Will do and no, I'm sure I didn't, I never use backspace in the game.

Ok. Just asking cuz the latter was the command to enable free camera while still alive.
