We will NEVER sell tier X ships for real money

 

Yeah, your Company is as worth as those promises

 

You Just need to add tier XI ships with missiles, and i guess there will be nothing more you can ruin

But to me, it was worth It

They Just have to ban me from the game, so that i will also loose all the premium time that i have left

 

If not, they have to add subs in random battles, and so i have to wait about a year

Have been fun to play in the past

Is still fun to play from time to time

But no way i will play as much as before or ever spend real money on it anymore :)

101 on HOW to ignore and stomp over your faithful, supporting player base. That is literally how you tear off your community. I am not surprised if this game will kinda "die" the next 3 years. If you are working against your customer, dont be surprised when they leave.

Their conscience is clear on this one. They added a layer of fake money in between, that you have to buy with real money. So technically, they are not selling it directly.

Is there anyone here that played  WoT around the time of the closed/open beta?

 

Do you recall the pre-order specials that will 'never ever' be available again (there was a light, medium and heavy tank bundle)?  This is stated at 1:22 in the following clip.   A number of years later they were in the premium shop for 24 hours and then pulled due to the outrage raised by this.   I think a number of years later they went on sale again (i wonder how many people who were playing WoT still from the time of the beta).

Yup, although I wasn't around for the original sale, I was around for the furore when they put the Mutant on sale the first time - it wasn't 'Rubicon' levels of outrage, but close. I suspect some of the reaction was partly due to the fact that - until that point - WG had mostly kept to most of their assurances.

 

These days, we're more "ho-hum, what's today's broken promise, I wonder...?".
