Always Courageous containers

How to get the containers

• Up to 27 containers—by completing combat mission groups.
• Up to 4 containers—from Daily Shipments.
• Up to 10 containers—by completing special combat missions from the official World of Warships streams.

 

 

Each Always Courageous container includes:

• An element of the Always Courageous collection.
• 1x special signal (Dragon, Wyvern, Red Dragon, Ouroboros, Hydra, Basilisk, Scylla, or Leviathan), or 1x Stars 'n' Stripes camouflage.
• One of the following: 600 Coal; 500 Free XP; 1,500 Elite Commander XP; 3x signals of the same type (Zulu, Papa Papa, Equal Speed Charlie London, India Bravo Terrathree, Zulu Hotel); or 50,000 credits.

 

You can purchase Always Courageous Premium containers, which offer more rewards, in the Premium Shop, or obtain them in exchange for doubloons in the Armory. The rewards are as follows:

• An element of the Always Courageous collection.
• 15x special signals of the same type (Dragon, Wyvern, Red Dragon, Ouroboros, Hydra, Basilisk, Scylla, or Leviathan), or 12x Stars 'n' Stripes camouflages.
• 3,400 Coal; or 8,500 Free XP; or 3x Type 59 camouflages.

The "Always Courageous" collection

The newly added "Always Courageous" collection comprises four sections, with four elements in each. It will educate you about the main batteries of battleships, admirals, and medals for service in both World Wars, as well as the main uniform types of enlisted men of the U.S. Navy during World War II.

 

 

Reward for completing the sections: 5x Stars 'n' Stripes expendable camouflages; Wings, Stars, and Stars 'n' Stripes patches.

Reward for completing the collection: V Oklahoma in the Military permanent camouflage, and a Commander with 6 skill points.

Not that I care much about another ship that is made as a trash-loot-filler....

I think that's where I'm at.  Not in game, but I got all the free containers thus far +1 purchased and had 25% of rewards, then got 5+ duplicates in a row..........that's some terrible RNG.

10/16 collected with 3 duplicates so far. 19 containers left from remaining missions so with just one more unique item from those 19 I should be able to complete collection.

I was wrong.......6!!!! of 13 were duplicates.   Such legitimate RNG.

Will only do the base 27+4 crates ignoring the bxp twitch missions. Need 11 drops out of 31. With then 20 duplicates Incan finance the missing 5 collection items. Currently at 7 so 4 more to go. Think the odds are good enough, otherwise I will have to buy with coal some remaining crates. The idea of buying loot crates for money is crazy. I have seen Oklahoma ‘s in battle. Paying money for bad loot crates to get a ship like Oklahoma earlier is difficult to understand.. 

 

Baseline is that I would like the collection finished and not having to wait until patch somewhere mid 2021..

9/16 items + 3 duplicates; I don't really care much about it, it's just that it's easy for me to complete the directives in Key Battles so i play Key Battles, grind the BP and at the same time, i complete the directives.

Less than impressive... at 8/16 with 3 duplicates, nothing unlocked yet. I fully expect to fail to complete this collection.

Just to prevent the ship to show up in your precious SC/ Santa/ whatever loot crate..Basically all the T5 that came with events are of mediocre quality.. But if you can get them free it saves you money and/ or frustration afterwards.

If you really like Pearl Harbor, you could take it to Randoms.. there are CV's there. A slow moving clumsy ship like that ought to be ideal.

Still, it is a ship that some people would like to see in their battles.

 

My preference is usually either for ships that existed in real life, or for premium ships (real or imaginary). Their performance is a secondary consideration though sometimes an important one when it comes to doing missions.
