You can have an unintended snoflake-o-meter as a result of WG failing to implement the advanced feature of a blackilst in a way safe for the game's performance. The only good thing about it is to add someone in a battle or at the result screen of a battle if you want to message this person later. It's much faster to click the name and send a message, then remove them from the list again in port than to use the equally useless ingame search that often doesn't find players even if you spell out the entire name correctly. The whole chat/message/list system in WoWs is horsecrap and needs a proper overhaul. Same goes for the chat bans. I'll never understand why battle chat bans also ban you from writing in port to people on your friends list or in clan chat. (from time to time some players a spamming the battle chat with quick messages, there i rightclick on them and "block messages from player".
