Last years raid the filth was epic, it set the bar really high for this year.

Cant even division up with my friends but you give me the option of divisioning up with randoms like Patrick Potato and Lobotomised Luke with their 35% WR achieved by bashing the keyboard with their nose.

 

This looks like a total shower of **** though I will reserve final judgement until I have played it.

I really like the camos for the new event ships, but why not offer those snazzy camos to buy?

 

Really makes me wonder why they spend time making those nice new camos, and then only have them for the event. 

 

Oh wait, I forgot it's WeeGee we're talking about here, where common sense have no place.

Yeah, battles where you can play NONE of any ships you bought/earned by grinding. What a brillant idea :D

Last years event was much better than this ,the whole key idea just make it so you have to PVP, which in my opinion we have Clan Wars, and Ranked for that. I feel like this gamemode should have been more focused on the PVE side then the PVP.

Either way it is what it is, might play a bit just for the PVE aspect of it. The whole Octagon arena thing leaves me cold. Maybe next year's will be better

I have played 3 games in new Halloween mode ... GOD THAT IS SO BORRING ! , why we cant earn , freexp & captain xp in that mode !? and 500xp per battle !? , that is just dumb , that mode is just a faile for me ,yes there will be some players that will enjoy that type , like they enjoy fortnite , but I dont like fortnite I dont like that mode , I am want have nice time to farm "B" , and you cant have that with allies that just wait to stab you in back  , in first best opportunity ...

Well had a few goes at it this morning and had my Arse handed to me, but enjoyed killing the monsters at first, then Ithought "Hang On" I'm getting all out of this, the Halloween tokens to buy the garbage in the shop a 6 point captain or throw away cammo's. Nah I'll leave this one to the good players Sod being cannon fodder lol

A little win for WG I chucked some Dubs at the 10point   Katarina in Leather, I always like the Bad Girls

So no meaningful credits or XP gain from what I can see, played around 5 games and seem to have gained 500XP?

Mode is somewhat fun at times but nowhere near as fun as previous raid the filth mission. 

Octogon is a fun touch, blending some Rogue Wave elements into the mode.

Diving up with randoms is as fun as previously anticipated.

Diving up with Lobotomised Luke, pulling alongside, leaving the division and dumping a load of torps into him with no cooldown is brutal.

Rewards are lackluster.  

 

So no meaningful credits or XP, just play a lot of games to unlock some premium camos or other nonentities.. 

 

Lack of being allowed to division with friends is pointless, WG should have allowed divisions from the start.

 

Rogue Wave: 9/10

Allowed divisions

Good rewards

Fun gameplay

 

Raid the Filth 10/10

Allowed divisions

Reasonable rewards / good credits

Superfun gameplay

 

Big Hunt 4/10  

Cant start with your friends

Somewhat fun gameplay though gimped by lack of teamplay with friends.

Yeah so apparently the main guns of that first ship you get, the Valkyrie, make no sound at all when they fire.

I first thought my client was broken and did a check and repair. No doubt countless other players wasted their time the same way and maybe even took other fruitless efforts, like contacting player "support" and what not.

I am seemingly assured though by a forum mate that the total lack of gunfire sound is indeed intentional.

 

What kind of monkey muppet comes up with an idea like that?

What kind of supervisor lets them get away with it?

Dude, I've enjoyed all the others, but this one just sucks. nearly 10mins and nothing to show for it. WG 2020 at it's best

The Filth was fun to play. You could play together with your friends. Rewards were quite good.

 

This year's event.... Is boring to play. Rewards are mediocre at best.

All players, a little attention who use MODStation on wows. It is not compatible with current update.
If you use be ready to face huge Errors/bugs and glitches in user interface.
I mean they are that much huge ones that they affect your gameplay on the current event drastically :D

No opportunity to earn caprain skills points.

Stingy amount of credits avaliable. (Was saving economic flags for this event, but they are useless here)

Not enough pve.

Not nearly as fun as last years event.

Feel sorry for the event game designers cos I think they tried, but this years offering is a big disappointment.
