I count that would need about 280 games , with 2500bp to get all rewords , who will do that ? , for some T9 & T10 camo ? , I remember when there was bundle with T10 ,T9,T8 camo I grinded that , but literally , T 9 camo ? , I have those 2 from collection , in christmas T9 camo will be main reword , and I play a loot of T9 battles ... but I have Musashi , Alaska,Benham & Georgia , I dont play stock T9 ships ... I dont do regrinds for reaserch points , I have a loot of regular camos too , so I dont need those camos, and I think that most players that have 8-10 k battles dont really need that , I guess that is for new players , but I think that kind of attraction dont atract but rather scare away.

They had the time and already have the code for the new ships and Halloween event special mechanics so ... Make a full time game mode with fantasy ships with faster updates (because well they are fantasy) and remove the Halloween events, rewards included.

I don't say it's bad, I don't say it's good, but it amazes me that the studio has the manpower to launch such a 5-weeks event with enormous amount of gameplay changes and graphims, behemoth map, monsters, etc, that, I am sure, took a very long time to accomplish, but you have NO manpower whatsoever to adapt the four old operations Cherry Blossom, Hermes, Last Frontier and Dynamo to the new CV model.
Just flabergasted and severely disappointed... again. I will buy NOTHING of this new mode (if there is something to buy), I would buy ALL allied cruisers that I don't have for Cherry Blossom (5 in all), I would buy the Champagne for Hermès, but no, the priority is halloween mode with all flashy things and gizmos.
And where are the beautiful halloween operations? Gone to garbage too?
I just don't understand and I just cannot pretend to understand anymore. My mind must be so idiotic and naive to have hoped so long time of a miracle about operations...

I bet that the footage of the armory in the video has been taken during PTS or testing, when the prices were not yet final. That's OK. But geez...something like that has happened before and probably they still haven't learned their lesson

I think this new mode looks great and this is a rather fresh take the BR/friend today foe tomorrow concept that has bee getting super popular thanks to among us. The rewards however are meh. Best rewards are recycled camos from previous events. Less then thrilled tbh.

So those space camos are not in premium shop neither you can grind them in game, again infernal camos from previous year, and halloween containers from like 2 years ago, most of all does WG fixed black list port bug? cause i don't see a reason at all to log till either xmas event or italian bb line.

Not able to div. up pretty much kills this to me too.

Didn't even try Asymmetric battles, all though friend recommended it when it had bots only but rewards were Random game grade.

 

Had a TON of fun last halloween with Raid the Filth.

Same, I liked the last halloween raid of the filth because, also if the battles after some become quite repetitive, at least in div you could find some fun. But in this way "go alone and then find someone inside" is already boring before starting it...

Meh, pretty much sums this Halloween up for me WoWs wise this year so far.

 

No Halloween Ops.

New Game mode designed for pure backstabbing.

Old content as rewards.

No fixed 'Sunray in the darkness'

No Submarine Op from 2018.

No CV skins (again) =(

No Tier 4 - 7 skins T_T

No interesting ship perma camos, only the apocalypse 'one size fits all while also blurring and breaking stuff on the ship camo'

 

I get COVID-19 threw a massive pandemic shaped wrench in the works but... ehh... kinda was hoping for more TBH...

 

...That and bloody Subs eating up all development time (Gosh darn subaquatic cash wales (shakes fist to sky)  )

 

 

I miss my Steam punk ships V Zombie boats and relevant ship skins

I would kill for a steam punk Ark Royal skin or Corrupted E.L with screaming Halloween Stukas dropping skull bombs that detonate in a green fireball.

Yeah this seems needlessly complicated and strange. I don't think it will become a classic, unlike the early Halloween events or the Filth harvesting thing.

On the plus side, WG at least seems to have taken the opportunity to introduce some futuristic weird space weapons this time around.

Pretty sad that normal division play was not added to this event. Joining randoms and creating divs in a game is not the same as starting out with your friends.

No, they were updated as the initial values were incorrect.

Ye, they do not work, because there is also nothing apart from battle points to earn. So they would be wasted.

 

@DeviousDave02 the tier 8 camo can be applied to CVs.

I am generally much more of a co-op/division player myself and that was my first concern as well when I heard about it, but having tested it on PT quite a lot, I have to say that it makes sense. Premade divisions would be too strong and this system allows for some great shenanigans and surprises. Give it a try!

Seems a lot grindy tho. But I'll play only to have fun, don't care that much about the camos or captains.

As far as it seems, the event looks very well made. The art team sure does some amazing work!
