Why is it the most stupid players always go for "stats are not an indicator"? It is always the same. And no matter how hard they could fact check their nonsense themselves, they insist on stats being irrelevant while their entire world around them is build on chances and probabilities. ^^

Hm, recently, I experienced an ~8min "infight" with a sub with the Flandre, while the rest of the teams meanwhile did something else.

In brief, the round ended before one of us was successful...

These arbitrary pinging positions in combination with the oil leaks are a good starting point, but it is quite frustrating when you throw minute after minute bombs and every fifth load hit something.  

On the other hand, the sub has the information advantage and could have easily destroyed me when the player knew to start fewer torps at higher frequency.

 

Of course, the same could have happened easily with a Shima as well. But you can run away from torpedo DDs much more easyly and with less frustration.

There is just NOTHING about subs that meshes with the gameplay.

Subs are almost like DDS and if your belief system supports DDs then it should be fine with Subs and other ship types as well. And why do you think that Randoms are somehow more special than other game modes or Gold league for example. They are all equal entertainment games and the button Battle is enabled in all of them to everyone.

I think you are a decrement to all those 'entertainment games'. You are a prime example of how bad players stumble their way into gold ranked. And looking at how desperately you discard statistics and bad WR values, you seem very keen to mention that you are a 'gold member', unusually often. According to your own logic being in a gold league holds no value, and in your case it is specifically true. Why you value playing gold ranked as much as you do is, looking at your dismissal of math and gameplay statistics, a mystery to me, but it is highly hypocritical.

Specifically the other human beings in each match that you seemingly and carelessly throw away to, for example, make a moot point on this forum. So you come here, and make a mockery of whatever doesn't fit or confirm to your mental construct.

 

You ruin the entertainment of others. It is egocentric and selfish. I do not understand why you keep visiting these topics, apart from you being a lonely and isolated confused individual in desperate need of attention. It seems irresponsible to let this abuse to continue.

He is a troll, plain and simple. He does the best to enrage everyone in the forum - and just look, every thread he participates is being intentionally derailed. And that's not all, he continues this in the game!

I admit, I'm not highly tolerant of important classes being played by utter potatos, but that's basically bad game design, get the bad CV and you have it disproportionally harder to win. But here I want to make the case that he should be banned from the game as well or at least relegated to coop forever, not for his apparent and/or utter lack of skills but for the intention to cause grief to his own team.

 

He thrives on the rage and the insults. It's the poor players revenge for being bad at the game, just like the teamkillers from not so long ago.

Just wanted to say that after being not allowed to post in this forum for about two (or was it three?) months and abstaining from posting for another month, I am now back.

I even played the game on the weekend again, while not doing so while I was silenced in the forum.

Nice to see that nothing has changed for the better. There's still subs in the game, CVs are about as healthy for the gameplay as ever and the motivation to play only PvP up to T4 and higher tiers only in PvE for missions is the same.

Makes it easy for me to continue to not to spend a single cent on this game :)

 

Apart from the above, did I miss anything vital concerning subs that happened in the last couple months?

so today i had the honor of having subs in the match again. it was an absolute ()%^$R^%$# show, i have to hold myself back to not straight up deinstall the game as it was completely &*^(*^&^&*. the sub kept circling underwater at about 4km distance for about 5-6 minutes firing torps the entire time without getting spotted by me nor the destroyer sailing literally above him as the pings kept showing up very close moving around me. NOTHING could be done about this. if this is going to be released the way it is then chances are high i'd just straight up quit. i want to play a game to destress, not to stress yelling at my pc where the *&(^(*&^ the *(&)(*&*()& is dieing to it without doing anything meaningfull nor fun.

WG will continue to balanz ze subz until they can't anymore and gives up.......hoping we are just fine with it.

The game is not getting better. It took a monumental nosedive with CV/AA rework and then subs.

So, if you are pissed, like you describe, uninstall. I did the second subs got tested on open server.

As a sub player, I don't actually recognise your description of a battle.

 

At the moment a sub under can't seem to detect other ships while its submerged unless teammates are spotting it. The 800km radius to depth charges mean that you should have absolutely no problem hitting the sub once you know even roughly where it is. Furthermore, the sub can't attack you unless it's either head on or it has its back to you.

 

They got nerfed to an almost comical degree recently.

Obliterate all subs on the map, and all those on the next 4 maps around it.
