Have you any suggestions to which " Turkish War Ships " you would like to be added to the game?

Ottoman battleship Reşadiye

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Erin

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reşadiye-class_battleship

Ottoman battleship Sultân Osmân-ı Evvel (but she could also be brazilian)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Agincourt_(1913)

Ottoman battlecruiser Yavûz Sultân Selîm

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SMS_Goeben

But I doubt we see them before WG reworks the low Tiers and introduces the RN and KM Battlecruisers.

It would be of interest.

see above source :-

http://www.turkeyswar.com/navy/turkish-warships/

It also would be a very " Forward " thinking move to have a different country's Captain able to go on her, subject to historical relevance. as in Ovechkin, thus opening up potential sales of Captains.

looks to me as if turkey didnt have a single ship to claim their own

all those ships should be added to their nation of origin and not turkey

I think Asia is a massive potential market for War Gaming, thus putting Turkish ships in their own line would encourage " Future Development " and " Future Markets "

Well, that logic would remove many ships in the Pan-Asian tree... ilikewise t would also remove Tashkent because it is an Italian DD, not something the Soviets built. Shipbuilding has always been kind of an international venture. The last surviving British built battleship in the world is.. the Mikasa.

Turkish Navy

Turkish Fleet 1939-45

As we (all?) know there were no turk-based constructions - only Kocatepe and Tinaztepe were sligtly different to italian origins.

We have enough "copy-paste" ships IMO. I would prefer to see some Hellenic Navy instead :)

The Pan-European tree could use some additions, though.

I would instantly buy Georgious Averof, should that get into the game.

Sadly the only ship made by the ottomans, but wasn't. Was the abdul kadir, but severe lack of funds along with lack of experience saw her scrapped in 1909.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ottoman_battleship_Abdül_Kadir

So we could add her as a tier 2 or tier 1 premium of some sorts.

This is the equivalent of the Moth ball fleet though...

Better than nothing really.

Think austria-hungary should be next however as they were far more influential and actually built some of their own ships.

Are they also the majority in terms of how much they buy ? I guess not. And that is the only thing that interests WG.

Sadly, WG completely overlooked the pre-dreadnaught era, and even the dreadnaught era is presented in a way that is clearly deficient in comparison to its historical relevance.

How would those ships play in terms of maneuverability, speed and accuracy ? If the answer is: worse then a post-dreadnought BB, then I agree with WG.

The only good thing would be: no cv's.

I would also do it for sure (as I did with Yahagi f.ex.).

Anyway Georgious Averof is the ship that I always  visit when I am mooring at the Kalamaki/Alimos Marina (so far 6 times) at the Athens :cap_look:
