OHIO Pice of crap for me because

Just got OHIO. Was looking forward to it. Montana is my best T10 BB 

So I was expecting to do OK in OHIO.

But no, no such luck. I like the ship But I get the losing team when I play this ship.

Does not matter if I do good or bad in the game. It is always a loss

It is like it does not matter if I play or not. My teammates just die.

Of 9 OHIO games I lost them all. I have not won one game in this ship.

What can I do? Keep on playing until I win? Stats for this ship is ruined anyhow 

Is OHIO not considered better than Montana?

It is considered one of the best if not the best T10 BB. 

The problem lies at your end.

Judging by that screenshot, I would play the Conqueror instead. Or at least alternate between the two while you get the hang of Ohio, to preserve the good mood.

It's an awesome ship....It's generally considered better than montana because it has better guns, secondaries and a US super heal. I guess you just got unlucky.

To answer your question, no it is not better than Montana because they are different ships. Ohio is preferred more than Montana in CBs but there are also very good players who like Montana more due to number of guns. However, Ohio as a BB is very good. You can push with Ohio but need to adjust timing well and when you push, it is deadlier than Montana. Of course there are many tatoes in random or in ranked, so you might be getting really crap teammates but losing all nine games just show you don't operate Ohio properly. It is not a ship to play at distance most of the time or not a brawler like GK either. It's between, requires good map awareness and timing to get good scores in it.

I started with my Alabama with 0.

But it WG's fault, due to lack of a proper follow up to a ship that I'm comfortable with.

With Bama i'm a bit rigid  because i don't have:

a complete build

having to fight vs t10 ships more often than before

I don't have the same amount of battles that i have with the other ship.

But i still maintain what i think about Bama.

It's all a matter of time.

Well stats aside, and i don't have her, to be fair whatever ship your in we all get losing teams, my favourite ship are not tier 10 but they are not working for me lately, (maybe gone on strike due to Rum  shortages) many teams retreat, or turn around leaving you out of place and out of kilter, might just a bad run your on who knows but keep trying or just have a break sometimes that works for me.

Just some random thoughts.
Part of the losses might've been unwinnable anyway, regardless if you would've picked the Conqueror instead. Part of them might've been winnable, but it would've put the burden on a hard-carry by you. Who, after all, just got a fancy new toy, and you might not be used to it enough yet, to use its full potential. Those extra bits that for example might've killed an enemy a bit quicker, saving a friendly. Perhaps you would've won one of the Conqueror games as well if you were using the Ohio that game instead.

Honestly she quickly became one of my all-time favourite ships. Superb, well-rounded BB that can do anything you want her to do and with an edge in mid-close range encounters. 

 

I just cannot fault Ohio. Frankly, she's amazing.

My biggest problem with the Ohio is my eagerness to use its secondaries. It is not really a brawler and is better at mid ranges where it’s accurate main guns work very well indeed!

Maybe play with a few friends in div to increase your wr.if you have to good players instead of two don't know how good ones your chances to win will increase.

Why? Div WR is irrelevant.

 

You may just have gotten a really bad luck run, it happens, I lost quite a bit with my Ohio when i got it, some was to do bad teams, but more of it was to do with me being bad, it's a secondary ship i thought so i'll do stupid secondary things in it. Secondary ships are stupid. Play it like a montana until the game opens up then you can start to pressure with it

THats why I dont play my Massachusetts at weekends. Avoiding potato-holidays is the best thing we can do if we care about our favorite ships.

Dude. If you have a losing streak, stop playing and take a break. And what is more worse, you are trying to push your wins on friday night, which is the day for most lowest IQ you can find in this game.

Take a break and give that ship another chance from monday or tuesday when the air is more breathable in game.

I like Ohio because Montana is my favorite TX ship, but Ohio is too expensive for me so I probably will never get her.

 

btw as you hate Ohio now thats how I hate Georgia... Only difference is that you can do some damage in Ohio unlike me in Georgia.

Ohio is pretty badass and ig played properly it can deal with almost any ship in the game - Even with russian balance.

 

Good ap, good ap, suitable on both close combat and range, decent aa and torpedo protection, massa heal and massa secs.

 

So maybe its just not the kind of ship that suits you?

Playing in div is always better (assuming good players) since it helps you to not go insane And you win more often ofc...

OP, give this ship or game a break. Everyone has losing streaks. As average player I constantly suffer from those bad streaks. It feels like a programmed loss, before you get anywhere already 3 mates are down. Then again a good streak starts and I sail through the caps and enemies without ever stopping breaking damage PRs. There is no middle thing, either get stomped or stomp the enemy. I may have 1 out of 15 games that is actually engaging, fun and thrilling to the end.
