why are new tech tree ships even a event ? wth :P thats some scuffed content... oh look we add new ships, but first we want all who can/want to spend money on them to have them, then the rest can get them :P  what a awfull idea, even War thunder adds new tanks/planes and boats, for tech tree with no events... they just add 1-2 new premiums, but focus on tech tree tanks..

This is a "new" trend to monetize new ships lines/branches. To fund the costs of research, design, test, build the ships line/branch. So no surprise.....

And in exchane, wargaming will fix rng issues,desync issues, matchmaking issues, ships obvious imbalances, a more fair matchmaker to eliminate 2 tiers gap, and and and......

 

And then i woke up from this woderfull dream, i wish it lasted longer....

OK, with Moskva and Soviet cruiser split WG argued that split is not the exactly the same as USN cruisers or Soviet destroyers. And it wasn't, except outright thievery on premium camo compensation for Moskva. 

 

Guess what,  now we have split incoming exactly the same as USN cruisers and Soviet destroyers. Message is: Pay us of GTFO.  Some people argue its a Pay-2-Win kind of game. No it isn't, I've paid a friggin lot so far and haven't won anything because I'm not here to win anything - have you seen KotS 2020 semis, radar chess Soviet edition, Garry Kasparov must be proud. WoWs is Pay-2-Play, it has been for good 18 months at least. I think British DDs was the event where everything started to turn for the worse slowly at first. Influx of newbies is rather high seeing so many folks turning hydro/radar on when game just begun and nearest enemy is 30 km away. As side note: I witnessed one hilarious co-op game this weekend. (Human) Minsk tried to torp Bayern and he shoot once (hidden in smoke), shoot twice (managed to hide behind island) and shoot 3rd and 4th time with a pause between both launchers - got splendidly detonated, Bayern sailed away. Pure comedy. Problem: BB was good 8+ km away from DD. That's WG target customer. More money than sense.

 

If I can get Minnesota in 1st box sure why not. But I'm not brainless being to splash 65000 doubloons on a utterly worthless content. I know right now, all tokens I'll convert to credits because bundles are worth less than 0 and credits at least offer some real tangible value.

 

This 'event' will be remembered as the most worthless addition to the game. Oh and let's not forget 40 seconds Oklahoma at T5 in 2 months time. Seems like after Giulio Cesare every T5 premium has to be outright bottom of the barrel POS. Something to look forward too! Yay!

 

I have sneaky suspicion that WG intends to nerf all BBs reload to 40-ish seconds in near future... there is that worrying trend over past 5-6 months of ST development.

Guys WG did a great job , we have been asked for some time between the events ... well this is it, this event is so meaningless that most of us can simply ignore it. 

 

We got the tech three ships on T8-10 with speeds what even were painfull on the Colorado already, which is a pass for me.

 

And damn 22.000 doublon for the Florida ... you can buy a Massa+ a Mainz out of that .. and those are OP T8 prems.

I am pissed off on that , because I have made break from game , few months , and when I came back what do I see Moskva is premium , that was scam move of WG...

 Heh dont you have better things to buy out of that money... maybe it is just my opinion but mostly the stuff WG sell during this Early access times is just a waste .. bet you come out cheaper if you buy gold and FXP to T10 on the new line in a few weeks :D

I'll just play the game as normal and see what I get for nothing, I have no intention of playing these God Awefull things, so if anything turns up Shipwise  I'll sell it like I did with the German CV event, I don't mind spending a bit of cash but Nooo Way am I getting involved in bundles with Russian Number Generation I soon learned that lesson the hard way, ( I'm sure there'll be a Graph to prove me wrong ) but hey...Good Luck Captains

I have spended 20 kr(2$) on game in 2 years I play it , just to buy missing gunei for cossac , that I never play , I am free to play player , I have Musashi (I grinded free xp) , Thunderer, Benham, Salem,Smolensk,Marceau,Yoshino ,Georgia(coal),and Graff Zeppelin (Iwon it from container),Nelson(free xp),Duke of York (won from container),Gorizia won in game ,Blyskawica (bought for dublons... that I got last year from SC),and man more lower tiers that I won from containers , bought for coal or earned in game , I dont need premium account (I have now because I got some 50 days from SC) and I can do 40k xp playing high tier premium ships in 10-12 games without premium , and WG did not offered something that I "NEEDED TO HAVE" ...

 

I am Polish expatriate living in Sweden , I have a loot of "free" time , because I work from home , for past 8 years I mine various crypto cryptocurrency (where I live to 2025 electricy is free :)) , and invest it in stock markets , all over world , so I basically whole day about 18h  1. check up on my minig rigs , 2 . trade stocks on my 3 laptops , and betwen that I play wows , I will not brag how much money I have , but is a loot , so much that in 4 years I will move from Sweden to Spain , buy some properties , live from some passive income , and retire , I will be 40 then , I litterally considering sending email to WG asking if they would sell 1.000.000 steel , 10.000.000 DB , 1.000.000RP and 10.000.000 coal for 10.000euro , so I can buy steel , RP ships and have enough coal for all future ships , but on other side that would could mess up game for me , only ships that I am iteresterd are T10 , I was close to spend cash Puerto Rick , but whole that event pissed me so much , I qute game for almost 6 months , and ships that WG offer just dont "talk" to me   Orkan Polish ship ... is T8 , I have premium T8 cossac , I never play it , simply because I dont like be F in the A by CV in almost every game , playing T8dd is no fun , only 2 dd that I enjoy in game , are Benham & Shimakze , so yeah WG can present ORP Baltyk as T2 cruiser , I am not interested in that tier , what more T4/5 ORP Drago & ORP Conrad , again I am not interested play at low tier , well they can make T10 paper Polish Ship , but they cant sell it ... so there is one alternative , they could do T9 ship , and I have idea in what I would be interested Polish paper Battleship based on Musashi in same playstyle (dont bother doing it in pan european , line I could buy only in Polish line) ,on that kind of ship I would spend money .

 

(there are idea WG , invest some money in creation on T9 ship , so every nation have destroyer - cruiser & battleship in T9 , I bet that would sell great)
