Non Working Chat System

I want to know what i did wrong, this Chatbann is another exsample off your completli useless chatreport system. As a paying customer i ask you please provide me with the transcript off the events so i can avoid it in the future. Unless off course you again will not admit that your faulty system creates Banns at random.

The sanction was applied by our semi-automated system that reviews the chat behaviour of every player in battle and actively searches for inappropriate wording in violation of the World of Warships Game Rules.

To ensure with absolute certainty that the system does not catch innocent players, it is under constant review and monitoring. It is due to this that the applied sanction cannot be cleared.

We will review your report in the next few days but please understand that no further answer from the Player Support Team will be given in reply to this ticket.

And they wonder why they get Bad rewievs on their Support. 

 

The reason they will not tell anyone why they are Banned is they then have to Admit their Chatban system is Broken. People report you misbehaviur in chat for the following reasons: 

You are in CV , You play your Smolensk, You play your Stalingrad or They dont like the direction you sail. 

 

But its very reasonable to Keep having a useless system that not only spoils the players game but also spoils all the people he plays with's gameplay becourse they can make no teamplay with chat banned player.

BTW in port chat is not working. Unless I'm secretly banned or something. I wonder if secret banning is some local custom i some parts of the world...

I got news for you. Even when you try to avoid insults you will get chat banned, because you did tehnically contribute in team chat.

This Ban I have I didnt use insults but I got banned for (quote) ''abuse or harrasment or typing in such a way to bypass the censor filter''

If you don't believe me that avoiding chat insuts in the way to bypass the filter is bannable I can send you screenshot of my log...

Since you and I do not know what you were banned for, sending me one chat log is pointless.

And since many players, me included, were not banned while avoiding insults, your claim is just false.

if you did provoke players in chat, or even complain on how bad they playing you would get ban for that. So no, my claim def. not false but truth proven many times. Even these guys from wg can tell you that this CAN get you banned.

But I did do that and was not banned. Just stay civilized.

I can imagine that this concept is difficult for you to understand and therefore unbelievable, but that is your shortcoming.

How does it actually work for real? What if enough people decide to report you, can you get banned regardless of what you have said or haven't said in chat?

You can get automatic chat ban of 24 hours if you get multiple reports in a short time (like me few days ago) which also reduce karma by -2 but that number is meaningless.

Two days ago when I got 24h chat ban it was by some division in my battle because I dare to call them campers. Because people do like to throw reports together if they are in divisions.

You type anything in team chat, that is enough for ''misbehavior in chat''. otherwise it could be ''discard'' of report.

I have no idea, as I only report people actually using naughty words.

I am frequently sarcastic and salty in chat, and yet never chat banned. I suspect you have to use some very, very, naughty words to get banned. I also imagine homophobic and racist comments will get you a rapid ban.

You simply don't play much. If you play 20+ games a day doing that in every game - I'm sure you'll accumulate much reports plus some soft one will send a replay to WG. 

Although something positive happened cause I'm not chatbanned for over 6 months now. 

I also started to reply on insults simply typing "ok boomer" and in 90% cases the insulter stops there.

Aye, basically you need to genuinely be using insulting terms in order to invoke the chatban-hammer, as we see every single time people actually go to the effort to pm one of the WG staff for their transcripts.  Using sarcastic phrases along the lines if "you realise you can't sail into the next map without finishing this one, don't you?" or "I know those circles are glowing red on the mini-map, but you won't get damaged just by being in them" won't ever result in a ban, although on rare occasions someone will get angry enough to dock you a karma point.

No you don't. Even if you don't use naughty words it can get you ban if you post anything into chat. Saying ''noob team'' like I did these past few days was enough for me to get banned.

 

If you are frequently salty in chat and never got chat banned than you have some crazy luck. Nothing else would make logic.

But as MacArthur said above, amount of playing is also contribute into reports and results into ban. You dont play much probably.

Yes very much so. That is even longer ban.

He seems so but im not.

Few days ago (prior to my 24h ban) I got -2 karma, than next battle where are several divisions I got additional -3 karma which was 24h ban.
