selling Moskwa

I want to sell Moskwa, but the "sell" option is no longer available. Does anyone know why?

She's meanwhile a "Special" ship which can only be obtained for a resource (coal) - therefore you cannot sell her (anymore).

Really?  I sold a T5 Kirov i got for coal, don't remember if 4 or 5 million credits.

It's a safety precaution to protect those not in their right mind, under guardianship or otherwise in a mentally unstable state where they would want to sell a T10-special ship for a few bugs of a meaningless unlimited ressource.

 

This might sound mean, but it really isn't. The Moskva is a lovely ship and getting rid of it is a terribly bad idea. I myself used it a couple of times in this CB-season. It may be inferior to the Petropavlovsk in terms of concealment and AA. But it burns down Petro and Stalingrad in a bow tanking duel situation, even more so with the LM.

Also not too long ago there was a mission within a directive requiring citadel hits in a cruiser. I tried different cruisers but found out, most calibers were not sufficient to citadel at the typical fighting distance. Also most cruisers had too much dispersion to get a lot of citadel hits when the opportunity arose. The Stalingrad again had too much punch for light cruisers. The Moskva became my weapon of choice and it delivered phenomenally.

 

Trust me on this. Be glad you got it. Many new players will envy you eventually.
