Look a the white stripe on the bow Thanks Thats the point of camouflage, to break the ship silhouette so observer, especially in less than ideal conditions have difficulty determining ship direction and/or speed. Dazzle camouflage kinda lost its effectiveness during ww2 when everyone started throwing microwaves at each other, but remains usable against classy, standard issue mark 1 eyeball.
