Voiceover setting: Allow nationalities, but disable weebs??

Hello all,

 

Just looking for some simple advice on the voiceover settings.

 

I currently have it set to "National voiceover +", because I like having each ship converse in their correct language. I also enjoy hearing Commander Jingles shouting "HELP!" and getting things wrong.

 

But I cannot stand those weeb/anime voices!! Someone was spamming, throughout the match, and it really grates on me!

 

Is there a setting that preserves the proper languages of all captains, as well as special commanders (such as Jingles), but completely removes the weeb voices?? It's my understanding that "National voiceover" will remove Jingles et al?

For the past few years Ive gotten quite many weeb captains but dont use any of them cause of the ridiculous voice over. Only weep captain I use is the cat that mumbles incoherent rants

I really like the national voices and hope pan-asians and pan-eus get theirs in do time.

If they could tie in the same rules as your ship filter list (e.g. non historical or special schemes not showing) as to your audio voiceovers that would be great. WOWS does have a vocal weeb contingent - which is fine.

 

Just keep your squeaking and squawking gibberish to yourselves!

Though I do feel the 'non-weebs' are missing out on a lot.

I am waiting for the Swedish language. Could be even Swedish chef. The Dutch got their language with only one Premium, the Polish idem..

 

But back to topic, another voice option could be useful to differ between normal and “ weeb voices” but the what to do with fe the 40k voices and the soon to come transformers..And special voiced captains like Jingles and his Russian counterpart. Or the hockey star?

So I take it there's no option that exists?

 

As far as the weeb, 40k, transformers (seriously??), etc voices are concerned, maybe add an option for "Fantasy Voices: Yes/No". That would leave Jingles and Jinglovski intact.

Hmm... If you use the standard national voiceover you don't hear the weebs iirc

Jingles is a Weeb that is why his voice over is also disabled with the normal National setting
