Small hint for our casual players:

 

The fourth stage of the mission chain for the summer tokens is a bit difficult. You need to get 12 achievements and not everybody can get them easily.

I just found out the achievements from the operations count towards that mission.

We currently got the operation "Killer Whale", which is reasonably doable.

So my recommendation for all who don't have a lot of time and need consistent achievements is: Do the operations. Go for the Sea Star, Assistant and Universal Seaman achievements.

As long as you don't mess up and play the objectives, you should be able to 5-star it and survive in all 4 classes. Shouldn't take you more than 10-20 operations, depending on your play.

This "event" is pretty garbage for Belgians, if I get enough tokens without buying them I can only choose between 2 t3 premiums, Atlanta camo, and the cheap summer camo. 

Even without these restrictions there is no way you can call this event a "sale". That's a straight up lie.

I can see there is a lot of moaning and complaining here. If you don't want the stuff don't buy. you can't expect that everything should be for free. if you want to punish WG hit them where it hurts them most DON'T BUY.

People like you is why WG keeps doing these milk farm events and call them "sales".

I finished missions got Big Santas chest and got a "FREE" Enterprise .... it's like a month ago when they added american random bundle ....I opened the first one with 1500 dubs and got Georgia ....next randome drop was Massa ....how odd is that ....I mean really ....the worst thing it happened on my alt acc and I got 4k dubs from Super containers .....t9 and t8 ship for free ....

yes, but I 'll recieve a lot of containers and other stuff in the next uppdate and don't mention the christmas event. All for free. it will just take some time to play 396 ships. or atleast half of them.

Siriously if you don't like the stuff they are selling don't buy it and don't take part in the event. There is one ship I really realiy want and that is Småland and I have about 4.5 miljon FXP so I can buy it two times  but I refuse to pay that much for a DD

There will be 4 new black ships before that and don't forget a new Lunarstorm after new year. And sometime during that time the arpships will return.

I have opened 6 boxes (5 christmas and 1 2019 black friday) and got nothing special.Not a single ship...Its robbery...

No matter what you get out of those containers, the house always wins (Wargambling). Except you get the Enterprise, then you'll win. But most people seem to buy containers worth hundreds of cash until they get one random ship, not even mentioning Enterprise.

I do like a Sale, where things in the Shops have a Reduced Price, And you think "What a Bargain Good Old Wargaming" and you think  I'll get that and maybe this as well as I saved on that ship, I know I didn't want to spend that much but a Bargains a Bargain in any any Language. Same here happened. Bought the 1x 50 and 1 x10 tokens and swapped them for the Halloween crates (about 5) and got nothing but temp camo and some flags.

I don't understand you guys. There are 4 pages of comments about how bad WG is, how this sale is just gambling. A then, the last page of the comments is about how you bought XY of those lootboxes and got nothing. Are you just stupid? Or what happened in your head that you went spending money on the lootboxes? By buying them you are supporting WG to do this again and again...

I am sorry for you, it can eventually happen, that you won't get desired things from the boxes. As you can see from the comments, those ships are out there. 

But please, don't call this a robbery. You knew, what you are buying and that from those boxes you will get one of the things listed in the description. I understand, that you are unhappy with this, but you bought those tokens willingly and you got the stuff, that could drop from those. You haven't got anything special, but you definitely weren't robbed...

I do have to admit the sheer focus and determination of the staff here not to even acknowledge the dumpsterfire this whole "sale" caused, and that WG are being torn a new one over this. I assume this takes a certain amount of training (or an incredibly repressive office-culture) to be able to pull that off. It's like Crys, Con, Yabba,... are all industrially coated in Teflon, to which nothing sticks.  

  

When can we expect the "we're sorry this event did not meet your expectations, we'll collect the feedback and forward them to the appropriate departments"-post? If ever?

The reason for the confusion and unpleasant feedback with this event is because previous sales which were introduced by WG were sales for ships.

 

This event gives you tokens for sale, not ships. And with these tokens players should try their chances out to get a ship. They may or may not get a ship although they would spend same or more amount of money than they would in previous events.

 

Of course, it is at WG's discretion whether to throw such an even or not at all but if they do throw one like this, is it the player base's fault to be upset with it? 

The WG answer is above "Well, if you don't like the event, don't spend money on it. You know what you were buying and no one forced you into buying"....

 

People will call this event anything because they are upset. They are upset with the way it was introduced, designed, and with roll chances. They are upset because they realize or see the company of the game that they like to play keeps screwing them up. They either get screwed up by not given the previous SALES which included sales on ships directly or they get screwed with being force to spend more money to try their chances or they are screwed up by ending up without an event if they decide not to spend. 

 

Check the forum and you will see how many people are upset with this event except a couple lucky ones with usual WG akissers.
