I'm much more advanced than that, because I already have 3800 XP on Acasta, ha ! this will take weeks to grind. or... of course I could use a full set of my special flags on my highest tier premium ship only to lose four times in a row to grind that amount of free XP... hmmm... difficult choice right there... Just use camos and flags on Acasta and you should be there after 3-4 days. The Germans are vaguely worthwhile hybrids, even if you're not a DD fiend (yay, HE pen buff). Mind you, these missions for collection containers are - IMO - all kinds of optional; so long as you opened the collection (which you will have, assuming you've got a container from the login bonuses), you can complete it entirely via the daily containers although it'll take a bit longer... 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

A lot of people got similar missions for ships they either do not play or do not have, I had a Guepard and got my hands on an Acasta to complete this, but never had any intention of inflicting myself on a Random team. all done in Co-Op. I have no German, no European (other than Gryff), no Pan-Asian and no Russian DDs, and had no British DDs either. If it was a deliberate attempt by WG to make people play classes and ships they do not have then I think it was a sneaky and underhanded way to do it, and I usually give WG benefit of the doubt in a lot of areas. Acasta is really good at that, and it has a good torpedo load for Tier V. Otherwise this is a good excuse to bring out some Tier VI premiums like T-61, Anshan and Gallant. Besides, it's not much to unlock the Icarus at T6 anyways. the Icarus has only 7Km torps... nothing to write home about. Actually, the EU DDs and German DDs aren't that bad too. It's enough; you do get single fire torps which help, and the RN line is more heavily about the guns than some of the other hybrid lines. Nothing, and I do mean nothing, is beyond your reach. I got "US, IJN and German BBs T5-10" and I got 37 of those in port. I think it's nice to get missions that are outside of your comfortzone. Like when we had "Get main battery hit ribbons, french and Pan-EU DDs". If it was US DDs then it would have been easy as hell. Just smoke up and spam. But collecting it in a "No smoking generation"-DD is a different ballgame. In this case there is no problem. Those containers give parts for the collection and you get those through the daily containers as well. Might take some extra time but you'll get there. But it does look like WG has had a look at each account and picked ships for the missions based upon what's played the least by the player.
