I never saw this ship before but there's already a page about it.

It's a M-class cruiser. No armor to speak of, but excellent agility, and of course the German 15cm guns, with their built in ifhe (and 4,8 second reload in this case)

 

She has potential indeed, although her (appallingly bad) AA and (nearly non existent) armor are both issues for some..

So, basically, it's faster than Mainz  and turns tighter than Shchors.

I like it.

I only hope that the nerf bat stays away from it

Heck of a lot more fragile than Mainz is, she's no better armored than the Nurnberg. So her agility and stealth (and remember, no concealment module) is all that keeps her alive.

It's sort of half Nurnberg half Mainz, it is squishy like a Nurnberg, but the guns use the Mainz shells so have better ballistics and AP penetration, it also has one of the best concealment's of Tier 7 cruisers only beaten by Belfast and is also very fast, looks very interesting but has poor AA. Will cope well being bottom tier cause the German HE pen gives it 38mm of pen.

Should add the caveat to this that she will only cope with being bottom tier as long as she uses her stealth and the driver uses WASD extensively, because her armor is not going to save her in a tier 9 match.

Thing is, her armour won't save her in a T5-7 match either. The strengths and drawbacks of the ship are valid regardless of tier it finds itself in. So, the caveat is kinda eh, as it's basically a prerequisite for doing decent regardless of what match you are in, not a bottom tier exclusive thing.

True enough. I'm not going to lie, she interests me enough to be seriously considering getting her, depending on what WG asks for her obviously..

OK, there are also lots of new USN ships, because NA will buy anything with the Stars & Stripes on, but this endless stream of German ships seems a bit excessive.

 

Is there going to be a similar fleet expansion for IJN & RN?

no, I actually support the new NDA system. 

Because drama queens on twitch like to create a mayhem over test ships like they are done deals. 

Even only from stats, without even playing them a single time they can do the same. 

and right now we can see, after the NDA change, some of the very big ones refuse to play test ships, because they cannot stream or talk about them.

other than showing them in port.. 

So their aim was never to test ships and comment on them to give feed back but always to create drama and attract more viewers.. 

 

And many people watching them act like a new test ship is what it is.. and they grab torches and pitchforks to join the massacre.. 

Like the pobeda / slava.. 

her live / final version is nothing but a long range glass cannon... 

she is MIIIILLLEEESSS away her first and second test versions. 

I'm not saying she was ok.. she was ridiculously broken when she was first introduced... 

what happened in the end? WG looked at the stats, spreadsheet.. and changed her.. more than a couple times.. 

now she is practically useless against other unless the enemy is braindead or helpless...

I guess I should have been more clear. I dislike the change on a personal level, but neither do I blame WG nor do I think it was unnecessary, partially for the reasons you mentioned.

This was more of a "why are we too 'speschul' to we have nice things anymore"

You've got several options for that. First of all, if using Windows you can type Alt+129 for the lower case (ü) and Alt+154 for the upper case (Ü), meaning you keep Alt pressed and on the numeric keyboard you type the number. As another option, notice the capital omega up in the comments' toolbar, which activates a small pop-up where you can choose special characters. Or you can always write ue where a ü should be present, which is the way Germans do it when the diaeresis (they call it Umlaut) isn't available.

 

As an extra tip, the ASCII code for the ess-tset (ß) is Alt+225.

Generally we can discuss the ship (beyond just the stats, those are fair game) when the ship is released.

How long that will take depends a lot on the testing and whether the ship is planned for some event, which could hurry things up i guess.

What stage München is in is also only known to WG, it depends on how close the feedback and her stats are to what they think is good for the ship.

There have been sightings of her before though, so this is not the first test-iteration.

So, if i understood you right.

Despite being under a  NDA rules you/they ( the people who signed the agreement)  can talk about the stats of an incoming ship.

All the rest only after the ship is released or perhaps about when the ship is going to be release.

 

That's good news, that mean i don't have to wait all, just a bit less.
