Has anybody bought these containers?

Rewards look nice, like a santa mega box but less possible crap. I would like to have some info about the drop chances if possible

Bought a 12 bundle as I had 40,000 doubloons. I received the Hipper and Pommern + many nice flags.

Learn from me guys, buy the Hipper back before you buy the containers!

Bought 2x 10. First gave a lot of flags, second gave Mainz. Did have Hipper and z39 in port already..

 

Spend twice the money needed for a direct bought Mainz. But got 15 days premium, 100k FXP, and a load of camo’s and flags.. For the camo’s and flags, while they are nice, you will earn a lot more with the upcoming “ snowflake” event..

 

But on the other side Main is the only premium that I wanted so that made me gamble..turned out quite meh...could have been worse could have been better ( drop in first 10, additional Pommern)

As I already have all the ships there is no point for me to buy anything due to:

I bought them expecting flags. Not a bad price considering how many flags you get compared to other containers.

 

Very happy with the result and the first battle with the Pommern was pretty good, dispersion actually seemed barely worse than the Bajie. 8 out of 12 hit another Pommern at 21km  yielding 19,000 damage and another  19 km shot at an Azuma yield a kill and two citadels. The pattern looked decent also.

 

I expect I just had good rng on my first game.

From what I see here in the comments I would say that drop rate for Premium ship is about 10%, which is meh for players who dont want to buy entire budle.

But I am amazed that this cost less then 8€ which was the price for previous premium crates.

 

I will rather spend my 4€ on 7 days of Premium next month, and since we will get a lot of special flags from Gift containers in less then 3 weeks, dont see the point of buying this from that side either.

What I was immediately wondering when I read the contents: Was there any reason to include the Hipper instead of the Eugen? To me the containers content does not seem consistent unless you assume a certain evil intent. And even when not the Eugen, why not Graf Spee, PEF or T-61 instead?

 

I mean, T9 prem, T8 prem, T7 prem and the a "random" T8 silver ship? Where is the logic in that?

I'm guessing that the fourth ship was originally another premium (T6?) but, after preparing the drop distribution odds, they then decided the overall promotion "cost" too much and switched it for a silver ship.

It's a German ship for a German event. Some missions require a German ship AND T8 ships are more suitable to complete XP or credit grinding missions. Plus you always boost a new player (and probably first time buyer) to T8.

Bought 6, got 4 x 21 signals, 1 x 21 camos (why 21 though??) and 1 x Mainz.

 

Bought Hipper back right before I bought the containers, so ... yay!

Well, with:

They killed those containers for the whales. If you have most of those ships in port your chance of getting another one is very small.

 

If you have a 10% chance on a ship (not known) and you already have 3 of those ships in port you have an about 3% chance of getting said ship left, which basically means you are not getting a ship at all.

 

Also, no more dobloons in those containers since the game is just gonna roll again after you won a ship you own, might still be ok if you are a new player and have none of those ships in port...

Bought 6 containers, that's my contribution this month. Got 84 camos, 21 flags and Hipper. I just paid for researchable ship... Good it's with commander and ship slot, and I won't have to grind her. Shame it's not fully researched, I expected that if I pay, otherwise putting ships from tech tree in a payed loot box is a bit over the top. Happy with camos, I was running out, flags are always useful, and one more tier VIII in port 🙂

Bought 15, mainly for dragon flags (although around five contained cammo); got Mainz though too, which is quite worthwhile.

 

Not unhappy with that.

2 *32kFXP, 2 * Camos, 15d Pemiums, 9 x Special Flags and Pommern (=19k Gold). Quite o.k., Mainz as add-on would have been the icing on the cake.

Hipper and Z-39 were already in port.

Yes that was quite disappointing for my friend who got Hipper. Unresearched and without perm camo. Earlier he got the Bismarck ( think it was unsinkable Sam) fully researched and with the basic permanent camo. ( now he has 4 permanent camo’ for th Bismarck: unsinkable Sam, the basic one and the 2 with yelllow turrets) 

 

Hipper is a bit cheap like this WG
