Why here tho. This is a rant about bad balans decisions WG made. How is this a guide or anything? And how should someone from WG find this here? Why not leave it in discussion then. You don't need to answer since discussing mod decisions is not allowed I just feel like this kind of feedback is somehow not wanted.

So.. just like WG usually balances stuff all the time, right? You've been playing for quite a while already, so I would have thought You already got used to WG's modus operandi considering buffs/nerfs/balancing (= sledgehammer it into form)

I bought it just 2 days ago, happy to see changed mechanuics and all & being in possession of a GERMAN CV :)

Moved over 18pts commander, invested in all skills for planes, 35 million.

What a shock: it is FULLY USELESS in Ranked tier 8 6 vs 6 battles!!!! (???) 
(a game with CV seems like Mickey Mouse waste of deranged mind time aka poop)

a) if there are 3 or more enemy ships together, ALL of your squadron dies. 

b) Rocket planes do now between 200-2000 dmg a run, even with full citadel hits - useless waste of TIME

c) one can hit on average if good, like with 6-8 torpedoes. This rakes in 18-24k dmg a BATTLE, and thats all for torpedo planes.

d) DIVE bombers are pain in the [edited]to hit anything - aiming is tough, planes get devastated by practically any ship you go for. IF you score a hit it can pierce for 12k and that is good. Happens maybe every 3rd game if at all...

CONCLUSION:

Buying, equipping, playing a CV (or a German one) is a full waste of time and NO FUN at all.

Any other ship has at least POTENTIAL to do dmg, CV NOT.

AP bombs are just bad for using on GZ (unless they now change it to be same as the other German CVs just added) Dunno? Which wouldn't be so bad if the rocket and torps was great as a fall-back, but they are not. Only shoots a few rockets and doesn't drop that many torps either. It's a very average CV and hard to do consistently good damage over 50k per-match with it.

 

It also doesn't have a great plane regen rate either, so not like you can keep throwing torp planes out mainly. Like you can with Kaga

Have they changed the way Graff Zep now drops Bombs and shoot Rockets to the same way the stock German line CVs do now?

 

or does Graff Zep still shoot rockets and drop bombs the same way it's always has done. Which is different from the new  stock German Cvs
