team balance unfair wanna quit

new to warships love the game lots of prizes if one works hard BUT i find myself fighting the best of the best players.

 

its like new players are the cannon fodder of the older players ..

 

just fought a ix cruiser with my vii battleship .. cruiser was stationary  battleship moving ... i lost not because of good play the opponent was a very high ranked player that knows the glitches of the game and just wobbled his boat backward forward side to side very slowly using the texture of the game to confuse the eye... his boat kept disappearing even though i was close.. fair play to the player very good but why am i in the same arena as this guy

 

currently it take me all day to win six battles and have lost thirty in a row as a record. I haven't got all day and wont be buying a premium account because of the above...waste of money  

 

games need to better balanced all the same levels and ranks as currently the setup is very unfair especially playing against ranked players  this would make me quit the game as its not enjoyment

The game is usually easier at lower tiers. If you play tier 3-5 you won't be abused by better player as much. It's also good to learn the basic mechanics of the game before attempting the high tiers. If it still is frustrating, consider playing co-op battles instead. There are plenty of ways to make it easier for yourself. If you want to improve your abilities, just ask questions how to get better.

Game will not be balanced because imbalance "there is always bigger fish" is core element of the game. And as World of Tanks show, correct amount of unpredictability and frustration can turn one small company into worldwide corporation, so why change winning formula? 

 

Don't like it? Don't play it. Can't be any simpler than that.

That sounds like correct usage of terrain to block LoS while someone else is spotting you. And justly so, because tier 7 BB have no issues obliterating tier 9 cruiser unless you're playing Gneisenau or other small caliber BB against US/German heavy cruiser.

You are not exactly new.

And no, people do not need to abuse "glitches" to outplay you.

 

And you know that player much less experienced and skilled than you can play ranked?

Throwing off aim is a valid tactic which you might try using. You said he was (mostly?) stationary while you were moving? Were you moving in a straight line? Broadside? Change direction and speed to throw off enemy aim. Try to be as unpredictable target as you can.

If you don't know why ships "disappear" and who is spotting the target, you might have "learn to play" problem. Lack of game mechanic knowledge is a real issue if you want to get better and win more games. It gets more emphasized the higher you climb in tiers.

Days like this happen. Everyone, even the best of players, have losing strikes. It's how you deal with them that matters. In your case, you might wanna look at yourself and what mistakes you are doing. How can you improve your game play to help your team better and win more games.

OP it would be good to provide a replay so we can see exactly what happened. I would also suggest the How it Works videos since it does sound like either the dude had terain blocking your line of sight to him or you were far enough for his concealment to allow him to go dark.

That and using proper angling.

the patch the player had stated he was ranked 2 ..i've played ranked games i've survived my team hasn't or vice versa ..to get to a rank 2 you've got to be good some player or not ?

 

maybe it because i dont no the mechanics of the game but to have an patch like my opposition has means they must have played the game for a while and have done well 

 

all i  was crying about is im new and to fight a player with that experience is unfair

• then learn the mechanics
• WG cannot protect players with over 1000 matches, there is a time when you have to learn how the game works, if you want to have it easier, stay at Tier V/VI

..but you're mistaken. You don't want it fairer, you want it easier. You've played over 1300 battles according to the info below your name. If you want to perform better, you either need to get better at the game, or choose battles better suited to your skill - lower tiers or co-op. You can't opt out of meeting skilled players in Random games. You can improve your game by asking relevant questions or choose easier modes. You have options. The game is fair enough.

not sure how to but its very simple 

 

im last boat opponent shows 11km stationary smoke billowing go to aim disappeared this repeats ..shoot to middle of target in between nothing hits  .. meanwhile every salvo i receive hits bullseye 

 

that seems strange to me but not to others so maybe its just me

1. You have a better chance educating yourself how things work in this game, than to change the game to your liking.

2. If a ship moves or not has very little to do with what it can/cant do.

3. You claim you didnt lose because of good play, yet claim, the player was very good because of his high rank. Contradiction much?

4. High rank is no indication of skill. Ranked is not an indication of skill either. You can play ranked or can you not?

5. Game mechanics are not glitches, again, you need to educate yourself. Instead of whine here, should have asked for help, you would have gotten A LOT of people willing to help. But now you came whine here AND insult other established forumites for no reason, who even gave you a decent answer. You just lowered your chances to get advice from others.

6. WG will never change randoms. Everyone is in the same pool, so better deal with it.

This is the only part of your post that has any value. And it is a very valid question. Why are you in the same arena with that player? You clearly don't deserve to be there.
