Supercontainer: What is the real chance to get one?

Hello fellow captains

I usually complete all daily requirement to receive the 3 daily continers:

My most favorite choice is the "resources continers" , but sometime I undulge myself in trying the "biggest chance to fish a supercointainer".

That said I received the last supercontainer exactly 2 month ago or 60 days ago.

Now 3 containers x day x 60  days = 180 containers.

Well I am still waiting to fish another one. So Apparently the chance are lower than 1%.

what is your opinion on containers/supercontainers ? 

Am I unlucky or it is normal? As a log term player I remember it has never been so difficult  to find one. At least in my personal experience.

Perhaps something changed and I am not aware?

 

PS : why WOWS don't tell us what are the  chances to get one?

Why would they? They would only need to specify this in one country (Belgium) and only if the containers were bought with real world money, they are not. Nothing wrong with a little mystery

In my opinion, knowing the probabilities would be correct and would make a more informed choice.

As there has been many threads with same question in the past, people (including me) brought up their own experiences regarding s.containers but all failed to unveil the true numbers and will not know unless officially informed. Personally,  i don't care how many s.containers i receive. What's inside the box is more important, quality>quantity, and so far i have been blessed by these boxes with flags and camos, rarely prem time and coal, never opened a steel box and got 1 t6 ship since i started playing which tells me quantity has far exceeded the quality in my case.

But don`t worry, the numbers could always be wrong, since we are talking about WG RNG. So if you just keep on trying you eventually get one. Or not, if RNG thinks you`re not worthy of Mjölnir.

• Always pick resources containers - guaranteed minimum reward (400 coal + clan bonus, if applicable).
• You'll get an occasional supercontainer, but the chances of any one containing anything useful are vanishingly small.
• Personally, I groan whenever I get a SC these days, as I'd rather get coal than flags/cammo (which is what the majority contain).

Are you talking here about what you found in SC? 

Well I did never find inside a supercontainer a ship. The best I had were 1000 dobloons. Free XP one or two time. Rest flags. 

I want to be clear: I am happy I can receive 3 contaiers x day and usually I chooce the resource one because Ilike to stockpiling coal in order to buy a ship when i have enough,

By the way coal ships are very good. (Salem, Thunderer and … Smolensk) 

So I value coal a lot. Also in Exchange of coal I can get improved equipment like radar hydro etc.

But even coal rarely comes out of a.containers compared to flags and camos. The daily coals yea, everyone piles them.

Yea, 3 super boxes out of every 200 daily boxes but they don’t explain the quality part which is the chances of hitting a ship or steel. By playing daily, it would take more than two months to collect that many boxes to get two super out of them. And when it gives fifty camo or 100 signals which you’d already have like 2000 of them it is just annoying imo.

sc drop should be increased in clans when people research new structure in naval base, but that starts from 0.9.7

My last 10 SCs were

3x50 Camos (2 Ireland and 1 Valentine)

3x100 Signals (all 3 times Captain Exp)

2x1000 Doubloons

1x1500 Steel

1x15000 Coal

Not Really.

1.5% Chance on each Container doesnt mean 1.5% of the Containers will be Supercontainers.

 

Since this is an Repeating Chance.

Calculating it for each number is really difficult and a bit of work.

And its not Linear.

Its a Curve. And each Unsuccesful Draw reduces your Chances.

 

So for the 3 Daily Containers.

Your Chance is actually 4.45% So on 3 Attempts you are barely below the 3x1.5

 

But on 180 Containers you effectively got a 90% Chance to get at least 1 SC

Meaning also a 10% Chance to get none.

 

As you notice.

90% is faaaar less than 180x1.5

 

Of course if your Lucky and get one after 10 Containers this Works in your Favor

Because Chance you ger Another SC in the Remaining 170 Contaimers would still be near 90% ^^

 

 

Thats the thing with such Lotteries.

They are Ultimately Gambling and up to Luck. xD

Yea I was checking the same page. Did you see that 1.5 million oil needs to be collected before you can active this future and it can be activated only once in six months? How much was the daily oil collection per member per day, 20? Do you realize how long it would take? Not worth it. This just seems like a carrot on a stick to lure more people into clans.

every box gives 10 oil. but that is not only thing what gives oil, every week there is naval battle what gives extra oil from victory and from points

Right, so instead of 20 u can get 30 out of boxes daily. Times 30 member let’s say, 900 oil per day per the clan. Let’s round it to 1000. 30K/month. Naval battles give around 1000-1500? Negligible in this case. We are talking about 1.5 million oil plus even if you have it you can only get the container once in every six months. Right?

It's worth being in a clan anyway - mainly for the various economic bonuses (assuming a reasonably developed base); if you aren't keen on stuff like Clan Wars, just join a "we're only in it for the resources" clans...

you don't need join to clan. it's just a game feature what gives extra bonus

Apparently I am always unlucky.

If I get 3 super containers per year ... and average lets say I open 2 per day ... lets round that to 600 per year ... yeah ... Im blacklisted.
