When we said, that we want more challenging COOP, that did not mean, that friendly boots should just go in and get them self killed withing minute.

Leaving me (the only human player) have to deal with entire enemy bot team who just rush you.

I mean ... can't you balance out at least coop?

That is nothing new. You have to kill the enemy faster. A Tier IV CV is not the best ship for that.

I know that T4 CV isn't for carrying but this is not the first coop game I had when I was the only human player on the team.

Friendly bots never went down like 2:9, or I had a different game apparently (the ones that they ram each other out)....

Steamrolls are just math. Have seen it in CoOp often enough. Can be hard work to fight against the tide. That is why all bot teammates give you the hardest matches in CoOp.

Ive had that happen to me too, once in Bogue several years ago. Back when T5 CVs could still manual attack... Was the only human in the game, all my bots just died.

And another one recently on an alt account in protected MM, with only 2 humans per side. My bots just all died, and the enemy bots played like super unicums (smoking each other up, sitting in smoke, turning away from me).

Yeah, i think there is active "rigging" with bots. If you fancy, you can call it RNG aswell ofc, but thats rigging to me, when one team gets worse bots.

And who is to say, that they dont do rigging with other stuff too?

Why? i think it's good as is.

Normally that happens when both teams are full of bots with one or a couple of human players.

You just have that into account at the start.

While in this game my team was full of humans, we buckled, i was the only one left. Not only it was a victory at the end , not only i survived ,but Bayern outshined Gneisenau and Bismarck in a secondaries hits mission.

thank you.

i almost was caught by surprise in that one but i had enough ship to bounce back  and while i was under pressure i adopted the random posture , one thing helped, i had time to do as much as i could by the book. And i was lucky, i had no competitors left. it was epic

An all-bot team was responsible for my best ever Co-op match in Hermes (when they folded and forced me to hold first one flank, then the centre as well, then three quarters of the map on my own); bots can be very generous teammates!

Then again, it's often seemed that friendly bots in Co-op seem to have less capable AI than enemies, they always seem to come off worse one-on-one unless it's in very unusual circumstances. That and I've noticed lately that bot AI is really not conducive to proper torpedo launching conduct, they frequently send torps towards teammates (I've seen bots on both sides do this) or just into islands that they failed to notice were in the way. That one seems like a more recent phenomenon.

Tbh, at least today most "human" teams perform worse than bot teams. If I am lucky, I have at least one other player who does not fail hard, but I can only guess how those people perform in random battles (from which I have wisely withdrawn quite some time ago)...

Luckily that sort of "collapse" is still very rare. Usually it's the steam-roller is the opposite direction with the humans killing every bot within 4 minutes, with everyone getting 1 kill and being left disappointed by yet another very low XP, short duration game.

Since most Co-Op games are over in 4 minutes, instead of increasing the bots skill level wouldnt it be better to just ad more bots? Like playing against 3-4 more bots than players.

Since they introduced the change to the starting scores in Co-op Domination matches, it's pretty rare for the entire game to be over in less than four minutes nowadays (at least, I've not seen one). Now, they tend to be over in 4-5 minutes in the other modes, usually with one nice healthy bot on the enemy team left alive at the end to taunt everyone with the extra potential damage that could have been done ;)

They already did that.

And take a look at the starting post. It just increases the server load.

Well given the billions WG earn and the cost of servers i think they could pony up for a decent setup.

myself id love to see co op expanded. adding multiple bots per person would be a nice quick and easy way to make it better.

can barely stand to play PVP now its just soo boring, camp spam HE from island/cloak , vomit wall of skills continously try and bore each other other into attacking then run away to camp and kite again. it used to be just tx that was infected with this but low tier sanctuaries are succumbing to it to now.

I have no idea how much server load a bot creates.

I know it is one of the reasons why the training room was not enabled by default for a long time and the number of rooms were very limited at the beginning when they were enabled by default.

MORE BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!

On topic, solo co-op is my favourite game mode right now. At least with most of the ships I play (less so Seattle 'cos that solo is a bit too hardcore). Bots are predictable and always reliable, so it's easy to make use of them to get a kill advantage and keep some of your guys alive. Tempting though it is to let the poor sods die and leave more damage for you to farm the dangers of being overwhelmed I consider to be too high.

But yeah, getting seven or eight kills and a 300k+ damage score is highly satisfying. Such a shame that co-op is so overcrowded at the moment.

very little. theres very few agents, fery few interactions simple movement.

if they genuinely had issues with training room id imagine it was for some tertiary reason like UI couldnt display them. Havent used it maybe it does something im not expecting but usually i wouldnt even expect a training room to be on the server, maybe its something to do with how the multiplayer works there /shrug but anyway theres no reasonable reason to hold back on co op for resources

All calculation is done on the server.

The bot calculation is done on the server.

Therefore the training room runs on the server.

Serious question, people play co-op for real? I just found out I can use co-op to get weird missions done instead of ruining my stats and annoying my team in random, so I'm pleased co-op is a thing. But I'm a bad player, at the very least an inconsistent one, when I go into co-op it's like a bot genocide, can't imagine people find co-op engaging?

Coop is fun and very winnable even if the rest of your team turns out to 'have a problem with pouring 'water' out of a boot with the instructions on the sole'.....:cap_fainting:

I have a suggestion for you.

1- try to break 800 base points.

2 - the highest I've seen was 1300 points

In coop there's an entire different set of problems, that prevents you to be able to achieve that regularly but the  the occasion will arise here and there.

"Jim" if you accept this mission, report back please.
