German Carriers: Early Access

So another set of Directives  for the Aircraft carriers that can't be finished unless you give yet more of your hard earned money to Wargaming to buy the Graf Zeppelin. So much for this being a  "Free to Play". I am finding it very hard now to continue playing this game because of the amount of Cash you need to invest to actually play or get the directives done.  After the Porto Rico fiasco I thought WG would actually learn a lesson but again the Odin shipyard directive needs you to actually  invest real cash as you cannot actually complete it with out spending Doubloons or you buy the initial 8K  Doubloons package that gets you the first 8 phases. I think its time WG sat back and actually looked at stopping scamming the players at every opportunity with unfinishable tasks unless you PAY CASH to complete. Why don't they take a hint at what they do in the other "SO CALLED" free to play game World of Tanks at least when they offer you a tank there is a realistic chance to actually grind it and get it for FREE, yes World of Warships FREE now wouldn't that be a game changer.

You can however Buy 3 further Token Mission Chains (1 for DD 1 for Cruiser 1 for BB)

Which will give 600 Tokens each.

 

These have to be Purchased for Doubloons of course.

 

 

Finally.

Premium Shop will get some Packages to Buy which will Contain Set Amount of Tokens.

We are WG's goats to be milked over and over, well my milk went sour and WG won't get another drop. :)

 

Do you know the best thing to come from WG for me is that with all these shady tactics, broken and frustrating game mechanics and WG's failure to listen to what its customers/player base actually wants means i have taken to other games, spending my money there and not here. 

Anno 1800, Assasins creed, Steel Divison and Warhammer 2 to name just a few. Hell i even recently downloaded Warthunder for the first time in 5 years even buying some premium time. There's so much out there right now much of it on sale far cheaper than you pay for 1 mid tier ship here. Anyone frustrated by WG titles at the moment should give something else a try.

 

WoW's for me has gone from a must play to an occasional drop in, and i'm edging closer to the door by the day. WoT i have not touched in around 18 months due to similar mindboggling decisions by WG. I would never start another WG title.

 

They haven't just pretty much lost me with todays titles but already lost me as a future customer.

where do you read that you need the GZ for the directives?

I just watched the Stats Bloke's review and even he's struggling to work this lot out So good  luck with the event folk's, but there's still only going to be the same amount of CV's in game I suppose, I really only have one little niggle. Please Don't Make me click Excellent  to gain access to the armoury ffs because that is Not what I'm Thinking.

MEH. Another grind with little added value. Instead of making next directive serie for no-lifes maybe time to starts some smaller events? Maybe small one-off competitions on varied tiers? Quasi-historical refights (Jutland with T2-T3 ships British and German teams)?

I'm going to stay away from any long-lasting events: the game is for me not I for the game.

This morning I had two CV on the game...on my team and the enemy (Total 4). Just the start of perish....and my ship was a T10 DD.

In this entire BS update the only one thing interesting to me was permanent camo for GK. And it is put behind such a ridiculous conditions, involving gambling. Great job WG. So the only way to get it is to buy myself a challenge? Forget it. I used to spend money on the game.Premium account, doubloons, ships, everything. Until this PR disaster. Not a penny spent since then. And I will keep it this way. WG keeps strengthening me in this.

• We need to pay you for Containers which MIGHT have a mission
• We need to pay you to buy Graff Zeppelin
•  and we need to play all the missions from the directives

Those cv:s were the worst crapships in this game ever you cant get enimyships in sight before the whole sduadron is terminated and definatly forget about bombs. don't buy them.

Well lucked out and got the Rhine and Weser after completing first directive,

completed the Rhine mission and got my cammo.

after the torture playing to get the cammo not sure will play the ship again.

don’t know if have the will to complete the Weser.

 Already have the Graf zeppelin so just the one of those built in missions that need the carrier for to get.

only really bothered about the cammo for the GK when grind it out and not sure will end up with enough tokens.

If not just have to live with the regular tier x doubloon cammo.

Until you fix broken CV, HE spam and 6 min rofl stomps and i see the mess your bound to make of subs you won't get another penny, not even at 7 doubs a camo. Also the "we realized it could be miss leading" is becoming habit, you put out these unclear descriptions hoping it's miss understood by people of the many languages spoken who then missguidedly buy single items instead of multiple items they were expecting....A shady practice that's becoming the norm in recent so called offers. Clean up your act, get these things proof read if you genuinely made several mistakes. Because the more you do these vague descriptions aimed at miss direction the more it becomes apparent its probably a deliberate ploy.

I was really excited about the event until I checked the requirements for one of the missions that give Tokens. Graf Zeppelin? A ship that I never wanted to own? 10k doubloons even with a coupon? Alternatively I could pay 7.5k for one camo AFTER I've done the missions that come with the package. Might as well buy a T10 camo directly. Or, you know, not at all. Because this is what you always do. It's the cheapest trick in the book. And people can feel how cheap it is. It is disrespectful. You get people hooked with some new thing, and once they are invested, you find ways to milk them. Either because the grind is too tedious or because there is not enough time for the average player. Or because progress is hard gated through certain premium ships that you have to own to progress. If I don't get at least 600 tokens, what is there for me to buy? Some signals and premium days? You really thought I was going to play German ships all weekend for that crap?

 

You could have done the fair thing. Given players the ability to earn slightly more than what they need for at least one camo. Or given them an alternative, but harder objective, like you did with the dockyard. Or at least added 15-50 tokens to the cheaper containers. But you haven't done any of that. Instead, you went on yet another whale farming mission that would have made <insensitve joke censored> blush.

I wonder how many of those "events" I can take anymore until I finally uninstall this game for good. And no, I'm not even a F2P-player. Maybe that was my biggest mistake.
