Played one match, and its a really bad ship.
Its not being compensated for slow speed, long reload, bad maneuverability.
The lower caliber guns compared to Colorado isnt to add higher reload, its should be on par or slower..
I hate slow ships, and if there isnt a compensation to all these downsides, why play it?

Her AA is good against T6 CV, especially Ark Royal will suffer. But T8 like Enterprise or Lexington - not really.

Overall this ship needs a division. Alone you have small impact. Just like Orkan or Champagne.

Maybe this can help you

Otherwise it might have a record for the powercreep since the new Florida already looks better than it and it was announced like 24h after california release. I dont have the California but it is just an example of WG trying to get money for mediocre ships.

It breaks my heart every day. I've been waiting for the USS California, I love the way she looks, the history of the class. Why would Wargaming maim her so before release is beyond me :(. Did some designer make a bet that American ships would sell even if they were really bad? This ship would be mediocre one tier lower :(
